A good RPG game that, despite its lack of depth in gameplay and simplicity in his history, keeps entertaining with its fun characters.

NBA 2K19 is the best basketball simulator out there. The depth of its game modes will allow the players to entertain themselves for a massive amount of time. However, microtransactions still remain a strong element, even if they are not as prevalent as in last year’s entry.

Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition is a more complete adventure that will captivate us not only due to its art, gameplay and story told by means of images, but also thanks to the deeper, real meaning that comes from projecting the heart disease of its creator.

Electronic Arts has managed to deliver yet another solid entry to the NBA Live franchise. Despite the fact that there are still some rough edges and that the game certainly has room to grow, the gameplay has been refined and ‘The One’ is even better than it was before. It may not be on par with other elite sports games, but NBA Live 19 still is a good and fun basketball game.

Donut County is a fun, fresh and original experience that knows how to take advantage of a very simple and limited set of mechanics. Sure it has some flaws, but, like a real donut, I don´t care as long as the result is delicious. And it truly is.

SNK Heroines is the Japanese company’s bet starring its famous girls with an all new battle system that will satisfy all of its players and that also focuses on the customization of the characters. This is, indeed, a fan service type of game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is one of the best exclusive games for the PS4 and one of the best games in 2018 so far. Its world has managed to surprise us due to the huge amount of content it possesses as well as because of its funny and deep gameplay. Finally, its visual level is movie-like and keeps the player engaged by means of a great story.

Planet Alpha is a game with great ideas and a not-so-good execution. Its puzzles are too simple and its platforming zones are almost nonexistent, resulting in mediocre gameplay. However, the incredible artistic level and good storytelling keep the experience afloat.

It might lack the decision making aspect of the RPG genre but, beyond that, Shadows: Awakening is an amazing game. The great mechanic of having multiple protagonists in one avatar makes every combat tactical in a distinguishable way, which is tied to an addictive playable structure , an interesting history and a dense amount of content to create a epic adventure.

The season has already started for PES 2019 and it could not have set off in a better way. We are delighted to guarantee that we are in front of the best entry up until now regarding gameplay, as it leaves the impression of being the most realistic football simulator.

Even though we can’t deny that this game has a lovely history and characters, besides a good sense of exploration, the fact is that Tyler: Model 005 is not a title that we can recommend. Has insipid combats, stressful platforms, bugs and, in general, presents a proposal that simply doesn’t work as a whole.

Slime Rancher is its own enemy: everything good it offers has a counterpart of equal magnitude. However, in the end, the experience is enjoyable and, despite its notorious flaws, turns out to be a pretty fun mix of FPS, adventure and farming simulator.

Hypergun is not perfect. However, it actually is the best roguelike shooter we have seen. Thanks to its delightful gameplay and its AAA quality gunplay, the few cons fall behind these outstanding pros.

Guacamelee! 2, yet again, provides an exquisite metroidvania adventure in which action, platforming and hilarous humor remain its primary assets. However, it lacks the new elements that would really make a difference.

NEXT is the step forward that No Man’s Sky needed since it was made available two years ago, the online options as well as the third person perspective are both well received additions, however, completely redefining the procedural system of the game is a very difficult task that, in the end, makes it aim for a particular type of player.

State of mind is a science fiction adventure based upon the idea of transhumanism that forces us to reflect on it, also due to its narrative-oriented content. Overcooked 2 is more like an expansion of the original game than a real sequel. It has a ton of new content and levels, but the gameplay remains barely intact, which means that the main pros and cons of its predecessor are still here. If you liked the original Overcooked, you will love this sequel; but if you don’t, well, this game simply doesn’t have anything new to make you fall in love with it.
