This time however, there was a certain good feeling that prevailed throughout the whole game. A possibility exists that the music helped conquer my heart.

The bottom line is that it doesn't come even close to the open-ended gameplay of GTA and the overall quality of Max Payne. Drawing any further comparison with these two well-known titles would be a waste of time. In fact, the entire game is a waste of time and money.

As much as I’d like to describe this game as ‘challenging’ I really can’t, in all good conscience do that, because I’d rather use the word ‘frustrating’. Not just because the game’s technologically underdone and has dumb AI, but because of the monotonous gameplay.

The game is a slap in the face, to people who like video games, to people who like comic books, to people who like Germanic paganism.

Not only will you have no desire to play it again once you finished it, but you are also highly unlikely to be sufficiently motivated to finish it once, in the first place.

Guys, I'll be honest with you here. I really gave my best shot at finding some redeeming feature in Damnation. Truth be told, you couldn't find such a feature if you spent several days playing this tragedy of a game. And if you do take it upon yourself to play it for more than one day, I fear for your sanity.

The graphics are good, but cannot seem to compensate for the overall lack of gameplay depth, or the godawful framerates.

Two very important things have downgraded the game's score I'm afraid: the aforementioned graphical disadvantages and only two locations for exploring.

Even though it has a great story, which is sufficiently complex and intriguing to keep you glued to the screen for hours, the game lacks depth we had a chance to see in "Baldur's Gate."

Suspense is Primal Prey's main trump. People with a heart condition should definitely avoid this game. I am not sure how they did it, but the developers created a mighty eerie atmosphere.

Inquisition could've been a solid third-person sneaker if the developers took enough time to work on the visuals, the enemy AI, controls, as well as the camera movement.

Thief is a lazy slug of a game that drags itself across the planes of mediocrity and it could’ve been so much more. Quite simply, it’s brought to us by a developer that should know better.

Watch Dogs does do some new things and does them very well. With few exceptions it’s a polished and fun game and well-worth a look.

While it does an okay job presenting what it is really like to have depression, it sets the player down the exactly same depression path, no matter what is chosen.

As a nice little freebee to include with the Dead Island Definitive Edition, this is a perfectly fine add-in. Please just whatever you do, don’t buy this at retail. They are giving it away for a good reason.
