NCSoft have produced a fine game but, in the end, it's simply too little, too late.

How much fun you'll derive from Order of War entirely depends what you are looking for in a strategy game.

Wacky World Sports is one of those games that you like and don't like. Good graphics, fun and enjoyable characters… some flimsy games and terrible sound effects.

Majesty 2 is definitely a game you should play as it changes the way you approach a real time strategy game.

WET promised so much but after years of development has delivered very little.

The sheer volume of things to do and blow up is unrivalled, and the Geo-Mod engine spoils me so much that I don't think I'll be able to play another action game without expecting a similar, if not better use of physical destruction.

NHL 10 is a triumph, a game that sets the bar for any sports game that follows.

Is everything a good casual game should be, simple yet challenging, basic looking yet somehow still displaying a graphical quality that makes it's 2D looks spectacular, just like all Popcap games then, this sequel may not provide much new over it's predecessor, but it still has that addictive charm that makes it worthwhile investment for anyone with a few hours to kill.

Be you 6 or 60, IO Interactive have created a game that can be enjoyed by just about anyone, without succumbing to the pitfalls of modern day 'casual game' design, and in doing so have given this gamer hope for the future of family gaming.

If you have, or intend to, invest a massive amount of time in learning all the delicate intricacies of the IL2 series, then by all means give this latest addition a stab. However, if you simply wish to play an engrossing and hair raising thrill ride in the skies, you'd be much better off queuing up on the aircraft carriers in Battlefield 1943 for your chance to fly a plane for 30 seconds.

On the surface, DiRT 2 may appear to be a punkier, streamlined and therefore more diluted experience than its forebears, but this window dressing belies the complexity and depth on offer to even the most hardened rally purist.

Regardless of its shortcomings, the key selling point of ColorZ is the challenge it offers to the gamer, which, I hope I've already stressed, is present in considerable scale. So, if you're looking for a kick-back-and-relax experience, you can forget it.

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! -- A Reckless Disregard for Gravity's is a game reliant on skill. You'll either have a blast, whooping with delight as you skim buildings and gesture rudely at people, or be majorly fed up, roaring with anger at the constant flurry of failures: it all depends on how lucky you are.

Section 8 lies paradoxically somewhere between innovation and mundanity: it has its moments (zipping around the battlefield in overdrive mode is a good laugh and the orbital drops are simply awesome) but for all its good intentions, it simply can't overcome its eventually-boring gunplay.

All riotous fun to play with friends at parties and gatherings but guaranteed to split the fan base clean down the middle or somewhere close.

The major problem with this entry in the farming series however is that it's a sloppy conversion. From the controls to the fact that some people in the game refer to the R button on the Gamecube controller, there are too many things wrong with this version to recommend it to a Harvest Moon fan over the Gamecube and PS2 titles.

Cursed Mountain is a remarkable horror game - for pure unrelenting terror it is way above the recent high-tech offerings of Resident Evil 5 or Dead Space.

Rocksteady really have delivered here in the authenticity stakes. The game is entirely self-referential, with lots of fan-baiting namedrops and a slew of villain profiles and inmate recordings to be found, you will be on fanboy cloud nine here.

Not only a success as a licenced game, Batman: Arkham Asylum is a modern classic and an essential purchase for anyone looking for a solid, enthralling adventure.

As a fan of the series, Dissidia: Final Fantasy is my perfect slice of gaming for PSP. Utilising all the things done well in the previous games, while being inventive in all areas too, it should be a must buy for every PSP owner.

And so the problem, it's an online game without much of an online community. Section 8 might be a rather unimaginative game, it may very well borrow many of it's ideas from more established franchises but it's not without it's own merits.

Despite its problems, then, Osmos is an ambient Katamari Damacy for the flOw generation, addictive and emotional and singularly satisfying.

Gameplay finally feels more akin to the sport we watch on television, successfully capturing some of the chaos and brutality of the real game.
