Appealing, entertaining and with high production values, Runaway: A Road Adventure is a successful game that you will not be able to resist.

With excellent sound, superb graphics, an intriguing and entertaining storyline and a very solid fighting engine, Dead Rising is a great action title with some very odd choices in game structure that will likely infuriate you, but shouldn't stop you from playing what is otherwise a great game that's pushing the genre, and the power of the Xbox 360, in a diverse number of unique ways.

Almost an amazing game; with a little more variety and a few extra game modes, this would have been a real classic. However, for those of you looking for a very entertaining arcade game that's great fun alone or with a friend, this comes highly recommended.

With plenty of single player modes to entertain you for months and the online depth that fans have craved, any self-respecting FIFA fan who picks up FIFA 08 should be ready to clear off their gaming plates.

The gameplay had become more complicated and in turn more frustrating, and the story wasn't nearly as strong as Ace Attorney's.

It's not quite a massive revival of the game and won't topple World of Warcraft from its impervious throne, but it does add a lot more content to a game bursting at the seams with things to do.

It's intriguing and fun, the combat and mantra systems are not so overly complicated that beginners feel out of their depth, yet they have enough flexibility to keep the attention of the experienced RPGer. The story may be a little confusing, but the basic gist of trying to find a lost friend is easy enough to understand and working out what the rest of it means only adds to the puzzle elements.

A great game that's certainly worth playing if you enjoyed any previous Splinter Cell titles, but don't expect to see a huge leap in terms of gameplay, or the ingenious level design of years gone by.

The cute characters, quirky storyline and unusual approach to the genre make AstroPop a blast for a while, but you'll be unlikely to want to play it for more than short bursts.

It's got style, class and lots and lots of violence, as well as a kick ass soundtrack.

I enjoyed the early and later portions of the game the most, as the middle (before the dramatic plot twist) definitely began to drag a little.

A very entertaining game and an extremely good effort from Electronic Arts. Unfortunately, the problems such as the jerky camera, Ron and Hermione getting in the way and nonsensical lack of save points between missions do bring the gameplay down somewhat.

There's no denying that I love Shadowrun to bits - it's almost like World of Warcraft meets Counter-Strike. I love RPGs and I adore FPS games, so Shadowrun seems as if it was made just for me!

Anno 1701 is an addictive game that's easy to lose yourself in. It's the closest a game has come to emulating the easy, fun and challenging gameplay of The Settlers games while accidentally tripping over its own feet and landing on near enough the same disappointing combat system.

Playing with real friends in this game is better than playing somebody online, as you get to have a real party spirit and distract each other in ways that simply aren't possible when the other players aren't in the same room. Not only this, but there's a ton to unlock and enrich your multiplayer games in months to come. Got friends? Get Worms!

While the challenge mode will appeal to purists and the multiplayer mode to those with lots of friends lucky enough to own a DS, this lack of length in the story mode is going to put off people who enjoy the journey as much as the fight.
