Lunar 2 is a template for what sequels should be. While not pushing the graphical limits of the Playstation, the involved story and excellent soundtrack are wondrous.

A real beauty in gameplay, graphics and sound. I cannot imagine any Tenchu fan out there not being overjoyed with the overall experience this game has to offer.

After you get over this titles considerable learning curve, you can really begin to settle in and appreciate the game for what it is... a wonderfully crafted story!

Crawling through hoards of dungeons in search for more, and more pieces to your missing world never got old for me. I was always driven to go on.

The graphics are absolutely stunning, but lose a few points for a quirky frame rate and lack of spectacular lighting, but damn they sure are perdy!

This game take the PlayStation to a new level of excellence. The graphics are the most fluid and detailed yet seen. The gameplay is even hotter than the original.

The one main thing this game has though is staying power. I often found myself throwing the controller in disgust and turning off the game only to be drawn back to it shortly afterwards.

Insomniac has raised the classic platform standards, set up by legendary gaming heroes such as Sonic and Mario, onto a new, higher level in this wonderful adventure for all ages.

Commentary is witty in places and embarrassing in others.

This game either pushes the boundaries of it's genre further than ever before on this system, or creates a completely new gaming experience. Either way, it should not be missed.

You get a stable of incredible cars, wonderfully designed tracks and immersive gameplay thanks to some of the best sound effects ever to grace a console racer.

The game is just designed and presented so damn well, that it hooks you in and keeps you coming back for more. It's one of those rare games that require players to think before they react.

As an RPG there are very few characters in PE, however the lack of characters is more of a feature than a bug since it gives you a closer tie to the few main characters and more of a role in guiding their destiny.

The fighting is as brutal as ever; perhaps even more so with the power of the PS2 behind it...but the fun is still retained.

Frequency will grab a hold of your senses and won’t let go. The visuals are mind blowing and the audio is diverse and alive. This splash of sensual delight coupled with gameplay that becomes more addictive as you play puts Frequency on a higher plane than other games in the same class.

I would say, if you don’t presently own MGS or MGS2, this would be a good investment.

It’s a nice looking game and the controls are smooth. WU also offers more than any other game of its genre. The learning curve is pretty short making it versatile for all ages, both in single and two player modes.

The wonderful hand-drawn graphics move and animate the best that I have ever seen in a 2D fighter and the action is non-stop.

A few rough edges remain, but aside from that Suikoden III is a well planed and executed Strategy Rpg, that draws the player into the game in a way that few Rpg’s do.

With so many options, Quick Play to a Home Run Derby to a Season, you can play all day and not use the same player or combination twice. The graphics are superb and the movements of each of the players are fluid and clean.

With over 60 hours of gameplay and hundreds of animated characters both familiar and a new, Kingdom Hearts should prove a massive hit over the festive season.

The irreverent nature of the game really lends itself to multi-player action.

The Edge-Master mode is a wonderful idea and really helps to bring each character into focus. This is easily the best looking fighter on the market today, I just wish it had more characters to choose from.

As with all RPG's, it's really all about the story and this is where Star Ocean really succeeds. Besides being an incredibly long game to play, it's also interesting and has characters that you want to root for and see victorious.
