The challenge to map the complex controls for this engaging and vast galaxy conquest was enormous. And although it is not as comfortable as it is on PC it still delivers an entertaining experience.

You can feel that it was destined to become something great. And you sense that this actually might become a really good game. Right now, though, it is not much more than a game with potential and a lot of work to do to get there.

This is only a small puzzle adventure from Norway, but if you’re looking for a decent co-op-experience this might be it.

It could be improved in terms of content, but no other rally sim gives you driving physics as sophisticated, challenging and simply great as Dirt Rally 2.0!

The foundation sounds promising, but storytelling as well as puzzle mechanics lack suspense, challenge and dynamics.

The visuals and fighting system are worth the admission fee, but story, presentation and AI leave a lot of room for much needed improvement.

In theory I like this game better than Far Cry 5 and I enjoy it more than Metro Exodus. But why Ubisoft decided and went for micro transactions that can impact the balance (optionally of course) is beyond me.

This tower defense is as content-rich as it is conservative in terms of mechanics, with added technical flaws in the Switch version.

For a quick game this “Blockbattle Royale” is good choice, but after that it becomes too tedious too soon.

In its best moments it feels a little like Alien Isolation. Unfortunately those moments are hard to come by and not nearly enough.

Crackdown 3 is an entertaining urban open world. Especially if you conveniently forgot all the progress that Volition made in the last ten years with Saints Row or Agents of Mayhem.

The quality of this Russian odyssey is as inconsistent and varied as its climatic zones. But despite all its flaws and weak AI it still manages to create a solid post-apocalyptic action experience.

Well executed remake of a classic with all the weaknesses and strengths still intact, including on of the best storylines in the franchise history.

The concept is interesting without a doubt. Unfortunately the integrated mechanics fail to match the concept, the idealistic foundation or the conflict dynamics portrayed.

In the beginning you experience a lot of fun and a decent amount of arcady excitement. But rather sooner than later you discover that all the elements seem hastily connected, thus giving the impression of a disharmonic gaming experience.

It cannot topple Monster Hunter World from the top of the food chain, but if you like your monster hunting and gathering with a hefty dose of post-apocalyptic atmosphere, this definitely is for you.

Even if the One version didn’t get any enhancements or improvements: This is not only a loving homage to, but still the best direct interpretation of the Souls games as a 2D platformer.

At first I thought this just another twinstick shooter. But this is much more than meets the eye. The world of H.P. Lovecraft was put in a pleasing pixel design while mechanically it manages to challenge you from top to bottom.
