Arc Systems delivers again: A solid retro inspired brawler with an offensively arranged fighting system that takes a little time getting used to but manages to impress.

A cute farming simulation with stunning graphics and great attention to detail. Unfortunately, the mechanics are sometimes a bit lengthy, but characters and events loosen up the game again.

The return to his creative roots mutates to a “best-of-Mikami”-showcase, sacrificing fresh ideas on the way, resulting in decent survival horror that can’t compete with the likes of Silent Hill, Outlast or Alien Isolation.

An interesting story and intelligent puzzles help to transform this adventure into a good thriller. This is an enchanting retro trip with clever ideas.

An exciting Soulslike that has to struggle with frustrating mechanics and, despite a great presentation, keeps tipping the wrong way between fun and trouble.

It is astonishing what impact small ideas can have on a genre that you thought had nothing left to offer. A little character development here, a real-time component there and all of a sudden this match-3-variation keeps you glued to the screen with the infamous "one more run"-symptom. Unfortunately the closer you get to the goal, the less surprises you will encounter.

Kudos to Schell Games. The “Escape the Room” concept works well with VR, while the puzzle experience is immersive and the Oculus Touch controls are intuitive and spot-on.

Is Wild Run the magic ingredient that crowns The Crew the king of arcade racing? No, this still belongs to Forza Horizon 2 or DriveClub. But it adds not only fully updated visuals but a sense of purpose to the whole online factor that seemed overpowering in the original.

The action seems interesting at first but remains superficial most of the time. Unlike the story that asks about the value of humanity with the answers showing different aspects of the topic.

This retro platformer is as short as it ridiculously difficult, as cool as it is wacky. Nice!

This wasn’t love at first sight. But once you look behind the gritty retro visuals of this twinstick variation you might just find something that will keep you coming back.

A surprisingly pleasant mystical puzzle adventure with room for improvement and need for fine tuning in terms of mechanics.

Yes, the swinging system was tuned, the online mechanics were enhanced. But still there is no real progress, neither in terms of content nor visually.

Solid conversion of the 3DS vampire hunt. Unfortunately you won’t get any new content nor improvements in any form.

Less complex than Dwarf Fortress but visually more appealing Gnomoria places itself somewhere between the Settlers, the Anno franchise and Minecraft. Not a bad place to be.

On consoles you won't have the opportunity to challenge your friends online, but otherwise you'll get a straightforward port of a well-crafted PC-strategy with focus on economy.

This tower defense is as content-rich as it is conservative in terms of mechanics, with added technical flaws in the Switch version.

The inclusion of tactical elements like the orders for the teammates give this otherwise very conservative musou action an interesting twist.

The full extent of the brilliant driving physics can just be experienced with proper hardware. If you don’t own a racing wheel, the fun you’ll have with Assetto will be limited – not only by the clumsy pad controls but also by the seemingly overwhelming and sometimes even unfair AI.

It is good to see that it is not only Harmonix trying to push boundaries with rhythm games. The concept is simple yet genius. The execution takes a little time to get used to and then it is over all too soon. But it is great fun while it lasts.

As an arcade racer you’ll get quite a bit of fun out of The Crew 2, thanks to plenty of vehicles and the various race types as well as challenges. The open world on the other hand is only little more than an empty shell.

A decent remaster. Despite some shortcomings it still is fun to join the destructive alien on his adventure, that not only appeals to a new audience, but to old Crypto-fans alike.

Pid summons a bizarre scenario full of weird characters and situations. The art design is simple, but very unique, the direction is plain but mysterious.

Yes, it is short. And it takes the by now well-known Telltale stencil and imposes it on our most favorite building block game. But the result is what the once announced “Adventure mode” in Minecraft promised: a big fantasy adventure with humor, suspense and real heroes.
