While the concept still works on the console the greatest horror lies in the technical execution, which is really terrifying with its frame drops, lowres textures and meager sound design.

I love turn-based tacts, I love classics and I like Fantasy. But while other games of that era aged well, HoMM feels outdated. If you really want to play it, get the original with mods.

The desire to play a modern space opera can’t be big enough to play this crude action, that fails to deliver except for the trashy cutscenes.
