Pure is probably the best Off-Road racing videogame in years. All the fun and the joy of riding a quad can be found here, and the pack comes with a great arcade style, astonishing environments and accessible and spectacular driving.

Magicka 2 is a great adventure action game with an amazing combat system, but it's also a sequel that's too continuist.

NEXT is a better version of No Man's Sky than the one released two years ago but, at the same time, it's the same kind of survival experience that you should avoid if you don’t like those kinds of games.

A satisfying 3D fighting game plenty of characters, options and game modes to choose from. Great control and neat graphics. The addition of the Break Gauge is a nice new feature.

Trouble in Paradise is a really interesting sequel to the already remarkable Viva Piñata, although we were expecting more new features. The only excellent characteristic that Rare have added this time is the online multiplayer option, a fantastic addition that will allow us to help others with their gardens and the other way around. An addition that might not be that tempting for the occasional piñata caretaker, but certainly it will be essential for the most enthusiastic players.

Just as expected, Minecraft: Dungeons is a wholesome character building game that one might be tempted to tag as a ‘cute Diablo’. Don’t fool yourself though —higher difficulties and bosses are indeed challenging, and you’re forced to think and act swiftly. Fortunately, Mojang lets you build your own hero on the fly, just by swapping their equipment, so you’ll end up trying tons of fun new stuff very often.

Black Mesa is more than a plain remake, is the passionate love letter from a team of amateur developers that grew to become the licensed creators of a great game, that actually lives up to the legend that is Half-Life.

Ghost of Tsushima is a game with a twilight zone. It has one of the most beautiful worlds we have ever seen and the combat is one of the most fun systems in an open world. Its missions, however, become repetitive and simple and it fails to engage the player due to the lack of depth in its characters.

Nagoshi and his team offer a more committed and satirical view of Japanese society, but they have also had to make sacrifices along the way, reducing the scale of the game. A spiritual successor who continues to have an enormous number of minigames, activities and side quest that sometimes steal the spotlight from the main campaign.

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep isn’t the charming, brand-new, revolutionary expansion Forsaken was, but it’s an important, transformative package that sets an even brighter future for the franchise. Behind its rather discrete amount of content lies a great sense of replayability, challenging content to chew right from the start and countless hours of tuning our guardians.

Hunt: Showdown brings a rather interesting approach to the multiplayer horror genre, focusing on stressing and pressuring the player instead of scaring them. The gameplay feels interesting and it’s definitely worth giving it a try, but the permadeath and the progression system might not please everyone.
