Once the somewhat clunky menus have been overcome, though, RC Plane 2 was more than I'd hoped when first seeing it.- 148Apps

The only criticism is that the last few levels could do a little more oomph, a little more of the ingenuity that was shown in the middle section of the game.- 148Apps

While Smurfs' Village has been in the App Store for a while now, it's getting a second life with the Smurfs movie coming out soon. Unfortunately the Smurfs deliver very little gameplay by limiting the amount of paly time in the game actively doing anything other than looking at Smurfs wander the forest.- 148Apps

A pretty special idea compared to anything else on the App Store. For this very reason, it's an acquired taste aimed at a specific audience. For the pre-teen and teen audience however, this is ideal. Bringing up difficult issues just makes it all the more appropriate.- 148Apps

The Dungeon Saga is, for the most part, the definitive puzzle RPG for the casual gamer. It eschews conventions like multiple complex classes and large amounts of weapons and instead boils just about everything down to simple upgrades.- 148Apps

Control issues aside, Z The Game is still a lot of strategic fun. The fast-paced nature of each level fits well with the on-the-go style most iOS users are used to and it practically feels like Z was originally designed with the platform in mind. Anyone who enjoys PC strategy games should find plenty to love here.- 148Apps

Kill zombies. Find the dungeon exit. That's about it. This game is about the essentials: killing zombies and surviving.- 148Apps

Orbital Jumper's yet another entry into a very crowded genre, and the things it does won't necessarily replace the Doodle Jump games of the world, but it brings a little freshness to a genre that can still be fun, but has been desperately in need of new ideas.- 148Apps

The game is repetitive by its very nature, so young children may lose interest or be unable to understand Farm It! Seasons conceptually. For me, it provided mindless fun that only furthered my fantasies of buying a farm before I, um, buy the farm.- 148Apps

While slinging Blobster around the game's levels, watching him bounce all over the place, it really feels like one's playing with a toy, rather than simply controlling another video game character. This is what makes Blobster a unique, stand-out platformer.- 148Apps

Whacking wolf after wolf over the head with a rake can get a bit tedious, but the game does it's best to vary the gameplay with kooky weapons. Save Our Sheep is a polished game and it does bring some unique mechanics to the tower defense genre.- 148Apps

Reckless Getaway looks phenomenal and it is crazy fun to crash a getaway car through traffic, over ramps, and down winding dirt roads. Everyone should get behind this wheel and make their getaway.- 148Apps

Other than the screen limitations however, Special Enquiry Detail: The Hand that Feeds is a pretty solid hidden object style game. Offering a bit more to the genre than just spotting objects, there's some extra longevity here and the 12 chapters in all feel sturdy enough in length to make the asking price of $4.99 reasonable.- 148Apps

The only real complaint is that the controls take a little while to respond meaning I can't leap back and forth as quickly as I would have liked to. While it's probably not for everyone, those into these puzzle games with quick-fire levels will likely find their 99 cents worth in there with ease.- 148Apps

An enjoyable little experience. It's perhaps a little simplistic with limited replayability once completed, but the path to completion ensures that it's worth the asking price nonetheless.- 148Apps

The visuals are striking and the contrast of the shadowy silhouetted figures against the bright highlights gives the game a moody aura that deepens the feeling of fighting in a dark, dystopian future. The controls can be unresponsive from time to time, but not enough that it gets in the way of the gameplay.- 148Apps

Sword and Soldiers is a great example of what a casual strategy game can do. It's deep enough for core gamers to enjoy, yet is simple enough that casual gamers can get in to it, while appreciating its deeper elements.- 148Apps
