Aside from all the flower talk, BIG BAD Flower is an excellent game that thrives off its sense of style.- 148Apps

It is brilliant and beautiful, but the control issues put a real damper on my enjoyment of the game.- 148Apps

Likeable despite some occasionally awkward control options, Globosome: Path of the Swarm is a fun game all about exploration and finding your comrades.- 148Apps

It could do with a better tutorial, but Etherlords is an appealing mash-up of card battling and world building. It looks great, too.- 148Apps

Tie-in games are frequently a little weak, trying to pack so much into so little. Dishonored: Rat Assassin dodges that quite nicely and, while it doesn't bear much similarity to what will happen in the full game, it's a fun distraction that's worth taking the time to download.- 148Apps

For those of a certain age who loved adventure game books, it's the perfect app to play and one that players will find themselves returning to. Not least because they'll have to be pretty skilled to 'win'!- 148Apps

If I had to sum up the game, I'd class it as a good fun-filled time passer, my only little caveat being that because of the true repetitive nature of the puzzles within Cogs, the game didn't seem to have as much replay value as I probably was expecting from it, or would have liked it to of had.- 148Apps

Mirror's Edge may be short, and not fully rid of the horrid combat that has brought its other incarnations down, but it still is a fantastic agile urban platformer that shines more than it ever did on the consoles.- 148Apps

Fans of the other games in the Radiangames catalog, even those who have only checked out Super Crossfire, will enjoy Inferno+, especially with its upgrade system. It's not the best dual-stick shooter out there, but it's still plenty of fun.- 148Apps

Galaxy At War Online has all the familiar trappings of many compelling freemium games. The problem is that it's a very familiar formula. And it's not actually free at the moment.- 148Apps

Synesthetic does not always work as a game. However, it works enough of the time that when viewed as a mildly playable, trippy musical visualizer, it shines.- 148Apps

Suffice it to say, Cave has done it yet again. Bug Princess is another great shooter to add to the ol' iOS library. It's significantly cheaper than its brethren, too, so it's also bound to appeal to frugal entomophobics everywhere.- 148Apps

While Time Surfer will not win any awards for uniqueness, it is a great example of how a fun idea can be iterated upon by blending in concepts from other games to create something that feels at least somewhat new.- 148Apps

Mos Speedrun is a game that fans of retro platformers should definitely check out. The speedrun level format fits for short-burst on-the-go gaming, and the level designs are perfectly made to be played in several ways.- 148Apps

While I certainly enjoyed playing all 15 levels of The Hero, I didn't finish the game with the excitement that I wanted to. Unfortunately, this was a case there the trailer was so good that it actually took away from the overall experience.- 148Apps

While match-3 games are not exactly the pinnacle of innovation these days, thankfully there are still original takes on the game being made, and there are new types of asynchronous games being made too. Panda Picnic should satisfy my match-3 tastes for a long time.- 148Apps

Amazing Ants is a fun game with great levels, controls, and graphics. Unfortunately, the gameplay suffers from the amount of ads and the constant need to accumulate enough coins. I really wish this app was a couple of buck and had no ads, with cheaper items in the store. However, I still recommend this app since the levels and gameplay are so good.- 148Apps

Swarm! sometimes feels like it's straining against its own limitations but it is hard to fault a game too much for just trying too hard. It's a meaty, quality adventure with balls to spare.- 148Apps
