A solid side scrolling shooter. It looks great and has enough content to justify buying it. It's not the first or only game in this genre, but it is one of the better ones.

Onirim is a great little solo card game that you can get a lot out of. It may not be particularly impressive in the looks department, but that's ok for a card game.

Crushing random objects and critters with a massive rock is a surprising amount of simple fun.

Jaipur isn't a hugely complicated card game, but there's enough to it that makes it feel strategically satisfying when you play. When you combine that with a healthy multiplayer community and an unexpected amount of modes, there's a lot to like about Jaipur. This is definitely a card game worth picking up.

All of that previous dousing of alien fires was just a prelude to this.

The core experience of Croma is surprisingly well put together. As a pick-up-and-play arcade shooter, it's a great and affordable way to kill time. I just hope that multi-touch support is added later through an update so I can keep playing it and actually get farther than a mere 108 seconds.

I never would've expected Quantum Legacy HD to have strategic elements hidden underneath the arcade on-rails shooting, but it does and it's all the better for it. Scouring the galaxy for badguys ends up being quite a bit of fun. The kind of fun that just about any iOS gamer can enjoy.

BMX Jam is a fine example of how to produce an exciting arcade bike racing game that's easy to pick up and play, but challenging to master.

Those who want their games to be a little more complicated, as well as those who want their games to be nice to animals, may be justifiably put off by Mushroom Madness. However, anyone looking to indulge with some dumb, savage fun should give it a look.

It's a cliche but SpongeBob Diner Dash Deluxe won't appeal in any way to those who didn't enjoy Diner Dash before. It's extremely similar to past titles with only subtle additions included. For fans of the genre though, such as myself, it'll happily while away many, many hours.

There are plenty of physics-based puzzlers with swinging mechanics on iOS, but Climber Brothers still manages to stand out in spite of its rather derivative tubby brothers. At that price it's hardly a hike for your wallet.

Even with the knowledge that Pixel People has no real meat to it and is about as "fun" as browsing someone's Facebook page I still have a hard time putting it down. Heck, the whole time I've been typing this I've been itching to get back to discovering new jobs. I can't quite explain why but this is definitely one time-waster worth checking out.

Eternity Warriors 3 might be shallow and very familiar, but that doesn't stop it from being a fun Diablo-style action RPG.

I'd have liked to have seen some form of story mode that brought more purpose to the levels or a selection of difficulty levels, but as it stands, Ninja Ranch! still provides a sufficient amount of fun.

Puts players in the shoes of suspect-turned-detective Antoine as he tries to discover the truth about his foster father's murder and clear his name. It's a very tight, well-made mystery title that should delight fans of the genre.

Fowlst takes two, obvious sources of inspiration and shamelessly slaps them together. The result is a game that is clearly reminiscent of both Downwell and Flappy Bird while still feeling like its own thing. There are times where its run-based nature can feel a little overly repetitive, but this roguelike arcade game is still a hoot.

Players looking for a new puzzling game with a macabre theme and solid physics should take a look at Zombie Fleet. The levels are well designed and fun to play, and the zombies provide a welcome change from the cutesy animals that inhabit so many other puzzle titles.
