Initially quite fun, it's unfortunate that MugogyJump never really improves upon its simple jumping mechanics.

Keep the ball in the air and negotiate a form of obstacle course to score many goals, in this tricky game of Keepie Uppie.

Box of Enigmas is a decent collection of brain-training mini-games that could stand to have its controls tweaked and pay structure completely overhauled.

It might look quite beautiful at times, but Flora: Jewel Quest lacks the heart of a good game.

Atari has succeeded in making Outlaw a far more palatable experience for iOS gamers. Unfortunately, they didn't try to do enough to help set the game apart from the crowd. The result is a forgettable shooter that doesn't achieve anything other than being unremarkable.

A Collectible Card Game with RPG elements, Sword & Magic HD is plagued with flaws that hold it back from its true potential.

Wanderer: War Song is the kind of game I want to like, but it goes to great lengths to keep me from doing so. The controls are a mess, the hitboxes need adjusting, and getting booted back to the main menu after each level is a pain. I’d say wait for an update or two before investing any money here.

Attack of the Kraken won't set the world alight with its originality. It feels like a frivolous game rather than one that you'd spend hours with, but it is fun in short bursts. Just don't expect a revolution in gaming: it's a shallow affair but one that's still quite fun to indulge in.

There's plenty to do, but it's oddly not particularly gripping in this colorful but uninspired MMO.

It sounds harsh to say but dice² might have honestly been better if it was free and had an ad or two in one of its barren pink borders. Good fundamentals are appreciated but even diversions need a little fleshing out.

A New Frontier shows just about every way that a Telltale game can go wrong. It sets up an interesting direction for the series to move in, and then squanders its potential due to artistic and technical issues. Unless you really need to see more developments to Clementine's story from previous seasons of The Walking Dead, there's really no reason to see this adventure through.

If I didn’t already enjoy and know how to play Lightseekers going into playing this digital version, I’m not sure I’d have much of anything positive to say about it. It’s rough-looking, feels really thin, and doesn’t explain itself very well at all. I imagine this could be a neat digital companion to anyone who’s already invested in playing the Lightseekers card game (especially considering the game allows you to scan in existing physical cards you own), but as a standalone game, Lightseekers is hard to recommend.

Chopper Rescue is in concept and execution a fun little action game that doesn't quite have the legs to carry it very far. By no means is it a poorly designed game – not at all. But it just lacks the certain characteristic to truly impress you or make you want to tell all of your friends about it.

Taking a step back and looking from a place of objectivity, it is genuinely hard to recommend picking up NFL Quarterback 13. Last year's game now costs a dollar less and features nearly an identical on-the-field experience, not to mention a more streamlined user interface. Though there was no real reason to re-invent the wheel this season, trying to send the same tire through the car wash a couple of times and sell it as new feels like an insult to the fans.

The very thing that makes this an attractive title for gamers of all ages and backgrounds – its simplicity – is the same thing that will likely cause gamers to stop playing: it's a little too easy and mindless.

I don't like to fight my games – this isn't to say that I don't like challenge entirely, but that I like the challenge to come from the content of a game, not the interface.

SunFlowers has the raw ingredients of a decent $.99 casual game: simple premise, one-touch controls, cute graphics, and collectables. But, the lack of irony coupled with redundant gameplay leaves me scratching my head over the price tag.
