Block Rogue is all about the repetition, for better and for worse. While the game can be addictive as you try to figure out just what is going on, the game can eventually become quite droning.

A charming little physics-based puzzle game but not much more.

I’m glad that Hyper Light Drifter is on mobile, but it doesn’t exactly seem like a great fit. Between the slow ramp up and performance problems, it’s probably best to play this game elsewhere if you can. If you can’t, it’s still possible to enjoy the game on iOS. I did, but I probably would have had more fun with it on console or PC, assuming those versions don’t have similar issues.

Twirdie works for the most part though, mostly veering away from being too tough. It does feel a little gimmicky but there's enough content to keep playing.

It won't win prizes for looks, or even originality, but there's something enticing about Jawfish Words.

Letris & Friends performs quite well. It's just unfortunate that it comes along at a time when another game does it all better, and classier.

I may be guilty of not judging Epoch on its own merits, but the similarities to Infinity Blade are all there, and almost everything is inferior.

Innovation isn't its strong point, but Small Fry is still an entertaining Endless Swimmer starring a cute fish.

Four Pigs Soccer is a fun little party game, provided one can rustle up three more piglets to play with.

This "physics shooter" does a pretty good job at pretending to be more than the clone it is.

It may deliver on some of the potential, but it seems to be far more Phantom Menace than A New Hope. Give it a look if you are interested in getting a glimpse at the future, otherwise it may be best to wait for a price to drop.

Munin looks pretty and offers some interesting puzzling mechanics, but its unforgiving nature will infuriate soon enough.

The Last Driver is highly enjoyable for the first couple of hours of play. It just gets a little too stale too soon to be memorable enough. There's a nice idea within, it just needs more variety to be worth sticking around for.

Sirtet may initially look like that familiar tile-matching arcade title we're all likely familiar with, but it has a unique twist up its sleeve.

While able to be called "sufficient," considering there are no other licensed basketball titles in the App Store, NBA Elite 11 falls far short of what should be expected for an iOS sports game.

Despite awesome visuals and great music, Frontier Heroes just doesn't quite deliver enough fun with its history lesson.

It's a shame, really. If it weren't for the camera/controls combination, Asteroids 2012 would be a pretty fun game. With less-twitchy controls and a more user-friendly camera, it would be an easy recommendation for arcade lovers. But even after (yes, after) an update, it still suffers from the same problems. Still, there's potential here.

Astro Party is a frantic duel type game that's great for gathering around your iPhone and duking it out.

Raid Leader can be frustrating due to the controls, and its length is a bit disappointing, but it's an interesting experience. Strategy fans might want to check this out – it's a bit different than what they might expect, but it might just appeal to a certain player.

It's not as deep as I'd like, but Oh, Sleeper – Stand Your Ground is still an entertaining game. It mixes two completely different genres with surprising success, too. I can only imagine how much more fans of the band will get out of it but the rest of us will probably have a fairly good time with it as well.

Something else that's incredibly powerful is the plasma ball. Like most brick-breaker games, this ball passes through everything. While by itself it isn't a huge deal, when coupled with multi-ball (and multi-ball multiple times) it finishes levels almost instantly.

There's a lot of replay value between the Phobic tokens, the keys, and the Plus+ leaderboards, and rolling through the levels is a lot of fun.

Siegefall is a medieval-themed game that's a lot like Clash of Clans.

It's not revolutionary (hohoho), but (R)evolve is a fun game for twitchy players.

This casual arcade game introduces some very light rpg elements into its fantasy-themed pachinko gameplay.

Borderlands Legends struggles to stand on its own two feet.

A 2D platform endless runner game, Buddy & Me falls short of expectation despite its beautiful graphics and an enchanting dream-like premise.

This game has some promising ideas and if executed well, it could have been a hit. Unfortunately, the result just isn't that fun to play and is often more frustrating and confusing that it's worth. The cute, cartoony visuals are a nice touch, but it's not nearly enough to make this game recommendable.
