Masters of the Masks is a standard RPG with a few extras to make it stand out.

Shadow Runner is a great game for folks who crave a challenge and revel in the precision platforming of titles like Bit.Trip Runner, but it may turn off those who prefer a more casual experience.

Web of Power is definitely an interesting and thought-provoking game, but it's also not too terribly accessible.

At the end of the day, this isn't a high-art game or anything like that. It's about a granny killing zombies. Take it or leave it.

BIT.TRIP BEAT feels like a divisive game – creative, right brain types will likely appreciate the game for its art and can look past the flaws. Logical, left brain types will struggle with the game's flaws to enjoy the core product. I find myself in the latter crowd, struggling to enjoy a game that is alternately brilliant and frustrating.

This is an extremely faithful port of the original game, all the way down to the input lag. The game is difficult, yet rewarding thanks to each success being well deserved. This is not a game that will appeal to everyone, but any fans of games gone by will find this makes a decent addition to the collection.

Planet Hop is as empty and unforgiving as space itself. That's not a bad thing.

    EMC
Even without being aware of its scientific inspiration, EMC is still a fun little game with a satisfying hook. It's the kind of time-waster perfectly suited for iPads and iPhones. EMC is a successful experiment.

Tabletop Defense is a unique tower defense game requiring strategic placement of weapons in order to defend against attacks from both land and air units.

Players won't be entirely certain what it is that makes a potentially monotonous idea so entertaining but it works.

It's a shame that Style Studio: Fashion Designer crashes so readily as it's quite an original app, albeit a little pricey for what it offers.

Danmaku Unlimited is bright, beautiful, and challenging. Shooter fans will have a great time with the game, but they may find themselves missing some of the variety seen in other shooters of this caliber.

The quaking camera and explosive graphics make it a real treat for the eyes, and the chaotic gameplay is very fun, as well. Even the audio is great-subtle, dramatic music coupled with good sound effects. Sadly, though, the technical issues along with the lack of replay value keep Warheads from its full potential.

While Rally-X Rumble won't likely convert anyone who isn't a fan of the game, those looking for a version of the game on iOS at last will enjoy this.

Who Stole Me?'s formula is pretty standard, and free-to-play trappings cause the game's difficulty to ramp up quickly. It's still a fun little puzzle title, though.

Not the prettiest of racing games but a fun way of completing some ridiculous stunts.

Air Patriots seems worth that $2.99 price as, while the controls are a little demanding, it's a fun twist on the genre. I'd prefer to pay up front for such content, though. Dishing out for a trickle of in-app purchases just feels a little disingenuous.

Ultimately, StickWars 3 is an easy to play time waster. The minutes flow quickly while playing it but once put down again, it'll be forgotten nearly as fast. For the asking price, that's all that anyone could want.

With some minor tweaks, upgrades, and bug-fixes, Parcel Panic could make everyone forget about the obvious Crazy Taxi comparisons. Until then, it is still a fun game, and is recommended to those who were patiently waiting for something like this on the iPhone.

If you just want a bit of fun, it's certainly very much worth the $0.99 asking price. The gameplay is good fun and the upgrades and economy sides of the game add something new to this genre, and it works very well. But, the more competitive players may get a little frustrated by the in-app purchases. It seems a subject that iOS game developers still haven't quite got their heads completely around, yet.
