Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead breathes new life into a tired genre, but it doesn’t do enough to help you enjoy its creative challenges.

There's a fun core game here, but remember: it's free to play, not necessarily free to progress and really enjoy the game. Caveat emptor.

With a wide array of puzzles available, some of which may leave players clueless, it won't be easy escaping Darkmoor Manor.

There's a lot of customization and party building fun to make this puzzler pretty engrossing, provided players can fight through the bugs.

I definitely appreciate Night Shift's style and effectiveness at being freaky, but it's still an awfully simple game. It might sound silly considering the platform but it's pretty simple even by iOS standards. That said, I think there's still entertainment to be had here. Especially from players who like their games scary, retro or both.

Perfect Cell has some good ideas, but just suffers way too much from poor controls and some of the most cliched and repetitive level design I've ever set eyes on.

It is difficult to tell what each of the special blocks is designed to do just based on a quick glimpse of what each one is. Suddenly there's some block that's just advancing upward and I have no clue where it is or what it's doing. Some kind of better indicator besides what currently exists would be helpful.

I still think My Singing Monsters is a great little curiosity for any musical enthusiast's iOS device but it will require some patience until the connection issues get ironed out. Still, it's pretty darned cool when it works.

Sure there are plenty of other titles in the genre out there, but how many of them involve re-killing zombies anime-style as a schoolgirl? Not many.

A little polishing here and there and this could have been a magical marble shooter. It's just that it needs some polishing.

Orbital Jumper's yet another entry into a very crowded genre, and the things it does won't necessarily replace the Doodle Jump games of the world, but it brings a little freshness to a genre that can still be fun, but has been desperately in need of new ideas.

There’s little reason to pick this version over the PC or even the PSN versions, but if you like the idea of reliving the 80+ hour epic on the go it’s not a bad choice.

It's nothing extraordinarily new, and if you're sick to death of match-3's or already have one, this game isn't for you. If, however, you're a fan of the genre and need one for your iPhone or iPad, Babo Crash is a good choice.

The fun of The Company is in using your phone in weird and creative ways to solve puzzles. Even when you immediately figure out what you’re supposed to do on a given puzzle, actually using your device’s full feature set to to solve puzzles is incredibly satisfying. If the game was only these kinds of puzzles, it would be a must-buy, but—unfortunately—The Company also features some not-so-great puzzles that really drag down what is otherwise a stellar puzzler.
