Iesabel scratches that action RPG itch, but just barely.

It's remarkably simple yet incredibly frantic at the same time, and an upgrade or two can make all the difference when it comes to nailing a three-star rating. Fans of the genre, give it a look.

Hunted Cow puts out yet another turn based combat strategy game. While it plays almost exactly like other games they've done, this one uses the backdrop of one of the most important moments of United States history.

I really like that Wordbox isn’t just about spelling as many words as possible. The different task each quest has makes it more about finding the right words, instead of just any words. At the end of the day, it’s still a word game, but there’s more to it than just spelling words.

Sky Settlers is difficult to get into if the player doesn't have a lot of time to spend to build up their city into a money and battery earning machine. This will detour most, but will entice those who are into sims.

The danger of a game like Sketch Nation Shooter is that it relies completely on user generated content. The added concerns of only being able to upload games to Facebook provide security issues, but the developer is currently working on a solution to that issue.

Level-5's newest Layton adventure is a bit of a departure from the norm but it's still pretty darn cool.

Heck, if Mistwalker simply adjusted the amount of resources given for taking down enemies (giant boss-like bugs grant 2. Yes, 2) it could make a huge difference. As-is, though, it pales in comparison to other examples within the genre. Even with the inclusion of Blades.

Much like an antiquated operating system, Glitchskier is cool-looking, but not the greatest thing to play with. Audio-visually, it's amazing, but I wish that the gameplay rose to that same level of awesomeness. It's not a bad game by any means, but there are better (though perhaps less visually ambitious) shmups out there.

Ma3e is like very strong alcohol. It takes an idea and distills it down to such a pure, undiluted form that it is almost too much, it's off-putting.

There are maybe two little problems that could make the gameplay better if they were fixed. The employee doesn't bounce consistently. It's sort of hit or miss; he either bounces at his max power or does a tiny bounce. Also, the lines disappear quickly.

Despite the camera controls occasionally getting in the way, Blue Libra 2 is still a solid strategy game. It's just complex enough to breathe a bit of new life to the genre yet still simple enough to make the transition fairly painless. But that camera, man, wow.

At least Strange Cases: The Tarot Card Mystery lasts for a while and because of its low impact one can easily play it while doing various other things. However, as a game meant to hold one's attention by itself it comes up a little short. There is a reason why games like these are meant for magazines typically found in the dentist office.

Angry Birds is still a fun enough game that Snappy Dragons' blatant use of its concept, even down to the way certain menu buttons look, doesn't make it a bad game. It just makes it a redundant one. Most would agree, though, that dragons are at least cooler than birds.

Anyone who is a fan of running games will enjoy this game. It is similar to other games out there, but it has a few features and game mechanics that make it different. If other running games have become mundane and boring, then definitely consider purchasing Amazing Runner.

Compared to previous installments in the series, Battle Bears Blast may be an ultimately simpler and lighter game. But it's still a silly and fun shooter. For gamers looking for something they can pick up and play on the bus ride or wherever they want to kill a little time, this is not a bad choice at all.

There is that "just one more go" addictiveness to the game, and being able to buy power ups and eventually unlock other characters to play adds to the long term appeal.
