While it's not as fun as MotoHeroz, it's got enough interesting elements in it to be a worthy download for the curious.

The game's downfall is that it seemingly models itself after "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" and it is most certainly not, but it gets close enough to keep a simpleton such as myself entertained. "Skater Nation" isn't the best game in the App Store, but it is the best skating game in the app store.

My only complaint with playing Dragon's Lair 2 on the iPhone is that the on-screen buttons take a lot of the focus away from the animation that made the series so great in the first place.

Tiny Owls is a cute game with plenty of fun graphics and gameplay. It might look a bit basic to mature players, but the challenge of safely navigating each level is enough to give advanced players a run for their money.

Possibly one of the most gorgeous iOS platformers currently in the market. Players looking for a lush, detailed visual experience won't be disappointed. Progressing through the game will take some time and frustration, but unlocking new environments to enjoy almost makes it worth it.

Little Ghost is a well-designed game that's just far too easy, although that's not to say it isn't enjoyable. The controls also deserve some kudos too, as they are very well done.

RISK is still a solid, fun game; how could it not be? Strategy fans and RISK faithful in particular should enjoy it; the epic, sprawling games are highly engaging. Just be aware that there are many, many clones…some of which surely outshine this stripped-down port.

Superfall is still a decent game; if you're looking for a minute's diversion, it's fine. But there just isn't enough substance, and it's too repetitive.

Chaos Rings III is an odd hybrid of mobile game mechanics that gets in its own way.

Σ12 (Sigma12) uses simple math to create a fun and unique arcade game.

Skydoms is a formulaic but fun match-3 RPG.

Empire Builder is a city builder with some interesting features but don't expect anything akin to other desktop city builders.

Mikey Jumps is a cool little game, but it probably won't blow you away. It offers up some fun micro-platforming that's fast and challenging, but nothing more than that.

This faithful and worthwhile update of the original Double Dragon is an excellent blast from the past.

Despite its best efforts, Slot Raiders proves slot machines can only be stretched so far.

Top Tank is a simple yet quite entertaining way to blast everything in your path.

Getting accustomed to Castle Dracula’s slightly different approach to puzzles and interaction doesn’t take long. And once that happens the game can be downright enjoyable. Until the numerous tiny issues start building up, that is. Still, an update is already in the works and I’ve no doubt that most of the kinks will be irons out in short order. As-is, however, it’s not great.

Hugo Retro Mania might not be the next hit, but I assume this would be a cool game to grab for fans of the old TV show.

This text-driven adventure is charming and fun, though perhaps a little too light considering the asking price.

Outside of a few unique game modes, Bird's the Word HD isn't doing anything we haven't seen in a game like this before. But it is doing those same things in a perfectly competent way that will certainly make it a satisfying distraction for plenty of wordsmiths.

It's eye-catching for sure, and mildly entertaining, but Party Pwn’s puzzles fail to live up to the hype.

Swiping is responsive but the tiles are a little small, depending on the letter, which can make slashing cumbersome. With practice though, this does become a bit more natural. It's worth pursuing as the game is a fun mix of genres and makes a welcome change.

Love it or hate it, there's almost certainly no in between with this simple parody of RPGs.
