Beatstream is a rhythm game that dynamically generates levels to go along with a player's music library. The graphics are unimpressive, but the game play is fun and the replay value is as big as one's catalog of music.

Aside from some nutty graphics, Sort Force is as standard as rhythm games can be. It's perfectly serviceable in an off-brand cereal kind of way. However, those looking for something more complex or exciting might want to look somewhere else.

PvNvZvP is a bit of a polarizing game because even though it can be rather entertaining, it's also basically plagiarizing a more popular game.

Edge of the World is high seas shuffleboard with online multiplayer, and much like shuffleboard it's entertaining, if inessential.

Protoxide: Death Race is an enjoyable enough racer, with a good amount of content. While the gameplay never really excels, there's also very little wrong with it, meaning just about anyone can pick it up in short bursts and feel satisfied.

Feist is beautiful to look at and interesting to play, but casual gamers might find it too challenging.

Halcyon is not truly a must have game despite its intriguing air. Its gameplay does not yield more surprise after repeated play-throughs and so may grow tired quickly, even with the Game Center integration that is new in iOS 4.2. But what is here is fresh, engaging and fiercely challenging; if you're looking for something that's unlike many iPad games out there right now then you should get this one.

Although the gameplay isn't exceptional, No Red T-Shirts isn't a complete bust. Some may find it more suitable for children due to the graphic style of the game, and it also has an appeal to casual gamers.

Simple, fast, and fun. Addnum is a free number puzzler that doesn't disappoint.

More 'Cool' than 'Clash', this is a stylish beat-em-up that is too light on content to make it worth the asking price.

Knights of the Card Table has a few irksome features, but is otherwise a solid dungeon-crawling card game.

As long as no one expects something that will put their skills to the test, Jigsaw Mansion 2 won't disappoint. It's got plenty of oddly-shaped pieces to line up with other oddly-shaped pieces to make lots of pretty pictures.

Cubemen is not the friendliest tower defense game out there, but its cross-platform support and unique elements are enough to make it a good recommendation for fans of the genre.

It looks gorgeous, but Back to Bed is actually a fairly simple and uneventful puzzle game.

Anyone with an interest in leisurely-paced board games who isn't afraid of very in-depth instructions will most likely enjoy it, but those used to simple pick-up-and-play titles might feel like they've bitten off more than they can chew.

Air Wings is an enjoyable and also surprisingly competitive game. The controls have been done well, and the matches are free from lag. Players with a couple of dollars spare for the in-app purchases should definitely give this a try.

Overall Subject 7 is a fun game if players have the patience to figure out some of its more 'interesting' puzzles, though at around two-hours long players probably won't want to revisit the world once they have seen all there is to see.

At the end of the day, fans of immersive horror games will enjoy the fantastic cinematics of Hysteria Project 2. There's no question in my mind that this is the scariest game in the App Store, but it could be so much more.

Everything about it, from the design of the game itself to the app's sparse graphics, focuses on simplicity. While I wish that it was a little more challenging, or at least introduced different puzzle types, 7 Little Words is a perfectly fine game on its own.
