If someone were to go into a playthrough of Pong World with the intention of spending no money, they could, in theory at least, play forever. Granted, it would be the same level and modes ad nauseam, but free is free. However, those looking for variety and diversity in their games should look elsewhere. At its core, this is pretty much a reconfigured Atari 2600 experience, masquerading as something new.- 148Apps

It's pretty, and it will certainly conjure memories, but Talisman: Prologue is only an appetizer - not the main course.- 148Apps

Wordchemy is a good choice for a free word game. It’s unpolished but its core is just fun and unique enough to keep that from completely bringing it down. It’s not alchemy but it can still be a little bit magic.- 148Apps

Like a true horror movie, some will love it but for others it will be just too scary.- 148Apps

Defender Chronicles 2 should satisfy those that want a unique spin on tower defense, or were clamoring for a sequel years after the innovative original game, though it is something of a flawed title.- 148Apps

Whether it was the very basic visual style or the fact that just playing a level twice can alleviate much of the need for any real skill, something didn't quite gel for me.- 148Apps

This choose-your-own adventure style gamebook has some plot holes, but is still enjoyable as a free game.- 148Apps

The follow up to Hero Emblems adds some wrinkles to its solid puzzle combat but mostly just feels like more Hero Emblems.- 148Apps

Plastiland is a homage to Lemmings, but with plasticine. It's pretty good.- 148Apps

It’s not exactly the ultimate all-star gathering we might’ve hoped for, but Final Fantasy Record Keeper is a decent nostalgia trip.- 148Apps

There's no story, and the duels are rather simple; even so, that simplicity makes it an easy way to get a few minutes' entertainment. As a Witcher fan, I would have liked a more significant tie-in with the game world, but even so The Witcher: Versus is, if not a must-have, certainly a fun way to spend some time.- 148Apps

iDaTank pulls together some great mechanics and blends them in an interesting way. The levels and enemies keep things interesting and the leveling up and upgradable weapons will keep players engaged. The game is much deeper than it seems at first glance and players will be pleasantly surprised.- 148Apps

This game isn't supposed to pack in a life-time of replay value, and its greatest appeal is likely to be to children. But, enough attention went into the small details to make this a better seasonal title than most that flood the app store at this time of year, and worth the $.99 to keep overexcited kids in check until the big day.- 148Apps

It's a well-crafted pick-up-and-play title with plenty of content (45+ levels and 2 different endless modes). It's just that it's also incredibly tough. Something that will undoubtedly appeal to some, but not all.- 148Apps

Lumber Jacked is a trial platformer that's a decent genre entry, but won't light the world on fire. Which is a good thing because forest fires are bad.- 148Apps

Kairo is the kind of game that should please most old school adventure game fans. Especially those who enjoy semi-obscure puzzles built around a series of rules they have to figure out on their own. However, thanks to the useful hint system even less puzzle savvy players can enjoy themselves without getting frustrated.- 148Apps
