While Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for iPhone offers a similar experience to its console counterpart, it won't be the 3D graphic-intensive one you were probably hoping for. That said, the game combines the use of brilliant on-screen controls, immersive objects and environments, comic-like visuals, and supreme attention to detail throughout to bring the first version of the GTA franchise to iPhone.

Pizza vs. Skeletons is what I love about reviewing. In an endless queue of redundant concepts out pops a game that is utterly unexpected, irreverent and loads of fun to play. Expect this one to be a long-time hit and to spawn many cheesy copycats; it's just that tasty.

Iron Marines is quite possibly the best real-time strategy game on the App Store. It's full of variety, lovingly crafted, and imminently replayable. Its in-app purchases may rub you the wrong way, but that feels like a small blemish on an otherwise extremely polished and fun experience.

Game Dev Tycoon is a must-play management game for anyone who follows the games closely. While Parachute Ninja isn't an instant classic, it does have all the ingredients for it to jump into the top 10 of the App Store. The graphics are smooth and crisp, the gameplay is easy, yet can get hard at later levels, and the concept is simple enough to swallow all player types.
