    Katy impressed me again with this new album! She's become mature now as you can tell from her new songs. I feel like everyone can relate to at least one of the songs from this album, and mine is save as draft! Well done Katy!!

    This is the best album ever! Hey Hey Hey, Roulette, Witness and Bigger Than Me are the best songs on the album! There are many beautiful songs on it. The album is really worth the money!

    Every song on the album is too slow, doesn't cut to the chase, weak production and Katy Perry doesnt seem to believe the words she is singing.     Every song on the album is too slow, doesn't cut to the chase, weak production and Katy Perry doesnt seem to believe the words she is singing. I was fearful after 'Rise', 'Chained to the Rythm', 'Swish Swish' then 'Bon Appetit'; these songs seemed stupidly ignorant and unaware of what sells and gets plays on the charts. Not a good product.

    There are a couple of songs that may chart well around 20th-10th globally IF packaged well with a decent relevant video clip. Otherwise this is a bad egg.

    Sadly Katy Perry lost favour when she began parading as a social justice warrior, political activist and dare I say, stupid puppet. At this point its over for her career but I have seen miracles like jet fuel melting steel beams.

    It's hurts me to say that Witness is just trash. There is absolutely no redeeming song on the album. It's messy, confusing and feels cheap. It's production quality is something you would expect from a music assignment of a year 10 student. It just feels wrong. She's not talented, she's not songstress.

    I felt that the album is forgettable and no future hits but Witness and Déjà Vu are essential tracks and the rest are just fillers it supposed to be a purposeful pop but I didn't feel it.

    Three singles, swish swish, cttr and BA are three worst songs among all the singles produced by her. Some songs are good, like witness, but other songs are just bad, especially POWER. I have to admit that the instrument work is good.     The biggest disappointment of 2017. What even make it worse, we waited 4 years for this crap? She should stop making music and... I don't know what. Plus, worst artwork ever.

    I honestly don't know what the critics want from Katy Perry.

    When she set out to release genuinely pop albums, she did it well above average, and was criticized for that, because the critics wanted something a bit more innovative, they wanted her to get out of the comfort zone. As if the complete change of rock from "One Of The Boys" to the summer pop of "Teenage Dream" was not enough.    I honestly don't know what the critics want from Katy Perry.

    When she set out to release genuinely pop albums, she did it well above average, and was criticized for that, because the critics wanted something a bit more innovative, they wanted her to get out of the comfort zone. As if the complete change of rock from "One Of The Boys" to the summer pop of "Teenage Dream" was not enough. In addition, they begged something personal, as if making a personal album was a rule and not a proposal.

    So with "Witness," Katy Perry completely ran away from the pop that she presented before and made a most personal album than ever ... and the "specialized" critics continues to come up with precepts to judge him. "Witness" is a genuine album, not only for a political purpose, but also with the duty to present to the world another side of Katy Perry. With risky beats, powerful lyrics and vocals quite different from what we used to hear from Katy, this album is perhaps the most misunderstood triumph in pop history. Maybe Katy Perry is the most misunderstood pop star of current times.

    I think the critics would feel better if the album had that simple four-chord combination that repeats itself and a blasé lyrics about ex-boyfriends.    … Expand

    A musical experience from start to finish. Fantastic lyrics. No song on that album is even close to being below an 8. Favorites: Power, Bon Appetit and Chained To The Rythm, which was the lead single and as always a massive success for Perry.

    Witness, hemos esperado cuatro largos años por ti... En mi opinión, Katy P. Nos ha dado un álbum de calidad en 9 de 10, tiene letras muy profundas aunque algunas no tanto, sus melodías son perfectas en cada canción, sin duda será uno de los Nominados en los Grammy 2018.

    The album is very good. To the songs with a calm voice and a contagious beat. Taking the listener, to feel several emotions in a single song, that is the legal one. Those songs with a very calm or sad voice and an exciting beat. I loved this new era different from Katy, it shows her change from venturing without fear.

    An amazing album, excellent production and beatiful lyrics!!!! Finally a different katy... Power, Tsunami, Roulette, Witness and Miss you more the best songs of the album. And dont fogert to hear Dancing with the devil in the deluxe edition.

    Witness is a different type of album, I think that she finally could grow up as an artist.

    It's not the masterpiece I expected after three years with nothing new, but it's a good album
    Best tracks: WITNESS, ROULETTE, SWISH SWISH, CHAINED TO THE RHYTHM, SAVE AS DRAFT and INTO ME YOU SEE.
    Worst: TSUNAMI and POWER.

While the music on the whole is very well produced and written, it never fully reaches the heights of her record-breaking "Teenage Dream". The songs are extremely unique from anything she's ever done before, but that's both a positive and negative. While the songs are perfect by themselves, they don't fully mesh well toKaty Perry has FINALLY returned with a great, but not fantastic album. The content of the album is still supreme though. Deja Vu and Power are definitely two of the strongest songs she has ever released. While they are well written, the production of pushes the songs to unreached heights. Deja Vu sounds like a 90's dance club jam cranked up in intensity, while Power is a powerful, feminist song that suprisingly meshes psychedelic rock with EDM vibes to create the best song on the entire album. Meanwhile, songs such as Witness, Pendulum, Into Me You See, and Swish Swish, stand out among the rest of the field. Despite a few misfires (Bon Appetit, Roulette), the album on the whole is a worthy successor to her previous work. While it may not be her best album, WITNESS stands out as Katy's most diverse work yet and I personally can't wait to see what she does with it.… Expand

    People that think this album is mediocre need to listen to it a few more times. Trust me, I had to do that too before I could appreciate the album as it actually is.
    It's definitely not what I expected from Katy but it's a really good album with most songs being absolute bangers and others being... well, pretty bad. That's why I'm giving the album an 8/10.

    Album of the year. Songs are filled with emotions. They suit to every mood. It's a completely new story. The story of Katheryn Hudson. Just listen to it and you'll understand how perfect this record is.

    I just know that this is going to be terrible way before it's released. Trying to stay away from mainstream pop but ended up sounding one anyway makes this album a super epic fail. I do not recommend this album to anyone looking for real good music.

    First off, I'd like to say that this album is disappointing in some ways and pleasantly surprising in others. For one, there aren't as many show-stopping,    I don't understand all the hate this album is getting from critics? I know Katy has always gotten mixed reviews, but Witness is a perfectly acceptable album. (And much better than Lorde's "Melodrama", but we won't go there...)

    First off, I'd like to say that this album is disappointing in some ways and pleasantly surprising in others. For one, there aren't as many show-stopping, standout tracks like Prism and Teenage Dream had. Most of the songs are growers though, and I've come to like this album the more I listen to it. I'd say the overall quality is a lot more consistent. The highs aren't quite as high, but the lows aren't as low either. Another thing I like is that the music is slightly more adventurous than what she's done before. The beats are nice and modern, and the production is solid without sounding overdone. The songs are also a bit more bittersweet and less happy than normal, which is definitely something I like.

    And just because Katy holds a special place in my heart, I'll do a track-by-track review:

    1. Witness - Really solid opener, and one of the better songs on the album. The piano is a nice touch.
    2. Hey Hey Hey - Not my favorite, but a passable song nevertheless.
    3. Roulette - Another solid song, and one of the more traditional Katy Perry songs on the album.
    4. Swish Swish - The first time I heard this, I thought it was fine but nothing special. It's grown on me a lot though, and it's cool to see Katy doing something more dance-oriented.
    5. Deja Vu - One of my favorite tracks on the album. Very danceable and catchy, this should definitely be a single.
    6. Power - Very musically different from what I'd normally expect. Not one of my favorites, but a perfectly fine, soulful song in its own right.
    7. Mind Maze - Probably the weirdest song on the album. It's sort of jarring, especially the auto-tune, although it's started growing on me. I think it's interesting, for sure.
    8. Miss You More - A bland ballad, but not the worst ballad on the album.
    9. Chained to the Rhythm - This song has grown on me a lot. I like the chord progression and like that it gives me some Daft Punk vibes, although it does sound like the kind of song that was written by 20 people. Still one of the more upbeat songs on the album.
    10. Tsunami - I love this song. It's a slow burner, and the bass riff is just perfect. Probably not the most radio friendly song, but that's why it's so great. It sounds a lot more musically mature than what we normally get from her.
    11. Bon Appetit - A relatively simple song, but the beat is the best I've heard in 2017. Seriously, the production on this song is perfection.
    12. Bigger Than Me - A somewhat generic pop song, but it's catchy and has a nice melody, so I'm fine with it.
    13. Save As Draft - Another lame, bland ballad. Reminds me of Britney Spears' "Email My Heart".
    14. Pendulum - Upbeat and happy, but not really my cup of tea.
    15. Into Me You See - A third bland ballad! She should have cut this album off at 12 tracks and we wouldn't have missed out on anything.

    Bon appétit is one and another is swish swish I loved those songs.

    The most mature record of Katy Perry, despite of two really bad tracks, Tsunami and Bigger than Me, this is the best album of the whole Discography. Must listen: Mind Maze & Deja Vu.

    I'm surprised with this album! Katy Perry did that once again! Truly a pop masterpiece. I didn't get the hate that she received so far. Congrats for this new era katy. We can feel your soul on Witness and it's beautiful. Thank you for exploring new styles, creating this awesome album. It was really worth the wait.

    When I heard all the tracks on her album Witness, I think this is the best album she ever produced! It has different meanings for people to absorb with and for them to seek inspiration through her music. Her comeback will be huge I tell you!

    Katy Perry completed an album of disaster.It seems that Capitol Records pushed her to release one since 2013. She is not ready to finish a real,meaningful and high-standard music collections.Witness contains too many fillers.

    This album is meh, not so good but not so bad, it's regular. The first songs are the best the other ones not so much. I think Tsunami, Mind Maze and Power are the worst, the ballads are so simple and boring, and the best ones are Deja vu, Roulette and Bigger than Me

The first half of the album is really amazing (only Hey Hey Hey - probably the next single - i didn't liked so much), with strong letters and such good beats (Roulette it's the best of the whole album). The other half it's a little bit slow but still good (Pendulum, i love you) and I really liked the personal letters of "Bigger Than Me", "Act My Age" andKaty returned with a good album. This not work for a single). Congratulations Katy, you made (I think) your second best album (Teenage Dream it's the first and PRISM the third). My top 5 songs from Witness is : 1 - Roulette, 2 - Bigger Than Me, 3 - Witness, 4 - Deja Vu, 5 - Pendulum.

    This is such an interesting and diverse album from the rock influence in "Power" to the motorbike sounds in "Hey Hey Hey", this album is definitely her best album yet. Highlights include "Power", "Miss You More", "Tsunami" and "Save as Draft". This is such a well beautiful album and highly recommend it.

    Witness is a really fun and cohesive pop album , probably the best of 2017.

    Pelas expectativas que esse álbum trouxe, pelo menos para mim, ficou bem abaixo da espectativa. Katy Perry merece até palmas por essa produção, se considerado o trabalho imposto por ela na gravação e na compsição de algumas músicas, porém é algo que fica muito abaixo (pelo menos para mim), dos demais trabalhos dela. Witness não é bem modelado. Tem pontos altos, como em Swish Swish (falandoPelas expectativas que esse álbum trouxe, pelo menos para mim, ficou bem abaixo da espectativa. Katy Perry merece até palmas por essa produção, se considerado o trabalho imposto por ela na gravação e na compsição de algumas músicas, porém é algo que fica muito abaixo (pelo menos para mim), dos demais trabalhos dela. Witness não é bem modelado. Tem pontos altos, como em Swish Swish (falando sobre um sel-empowerment anti-hater sou fodona, bucetuda e me veja rasgar meu cu na sua cara de tanto dançar), também em Miss You More (música típica para adolecentes que sofrem por causa de relacionamentos que nem ao menos existem), em Chained to The Rhythm (single-chefe do álbum, deduzo eu, sobre um posicionamento político de Katy à respeito das eleições americanas, Donald Trump, manipulação, e essas coisas que vemos na televisão). Por fim em Bigger Than Me (chega a ser um faixa muito "whatever", logo tem um ritmo bem agradavel, falando sobre quebra de taboos [paradigmas], como queiram chamar, e há boatos que esteja relacionada com a perda de Hillary Clinton nas eleições em 2016). Sem falar nas muitas faixas desse álbum, super descartaveis e desnecessarias, por exemplo Bon Àppetit, que talvez seja a coisa mais sem nexo e ilógica nesse album como num todo, mesmo tendo uma batida minimalista tosquissima, com vocais podres, contudo QUE GRUDA NA MENTE, infelizmente. Fora as demias faixas, Tsunami; Roulette; Déjà Vu, tudo com quase as mesmas caracteristicas se falar em vocal e estilo. Portanto, não é um album péssimo e lixoso, uma bosta, não! Vale a pena ouvir para pelo menos ter uma base sobre a evolução da Katy Perry enquanto mulher, artista. MAS dizer que esse álbum é o melhor de 2017, fica pra quem é fã fanático/louco quiçá surdo.     It's her best album. It has an amazing sonority, strong lyrics, and that Katy Perry's dance aspect, it reminds me a little of Teenage Dream and Prism, but it's better. Katy Perry really grew up in the music, now she is mature both in personal and in the music. Power, Déjà Vu, Witness and Pendulum are the best, in my opinion, of course. A masterpiece!

    Her best album til date. Her most linear work, most personal, all tracks seem connected to the concept and all of them deserves to be listened. She really presented something out of her comfort zone. Witness, roulette and swish swish are the highlights for me, but i could mention many others.

    Katy made an amazing job with Witness, is an album with mixes of pop and EDM creating brand new sounds so good to a dance floor. The rythm of deja vu is so involving and for my opinion power and tsumani are the best of this album. good job...

    la mayoria de las canciones son demasiado lentas, aburridas,

    It’s a real shame Witness has come out as a bit of a disjointed mess, as there’s a decent record somewhere in there, but it gets lost in the fog of endless guest productions and co-writes that miss the point entirely.
