Aug 20, 2021I love this album so much, it's just a chill, sunny, type of album with nice summer vibes. It's so different from what Lorde has been done with the last two albums. It's not for everyone, but I personally love it, it's very calming

Aug 20, 2021I love Lorde! She's my favorite singer, but I'm disappointed! I always try to be open minded when an artist I like change their sound or voice, but I really love Lorde from "Pure Heroine" her deep voice and the beats... I love Melodrama too, I heard it so much that it would be ruined if it was a fisical CD, so I expected more from this one! :/

Aug 22, 2021I'm completely in love with this album. Lorde did an amazing job, the lyrics are softly and relaxing. I felt like I was on the beach in New Zealand when I listened the album for the first time.

Aug 26, 2021Doesn't top Melodrama but it doesn't feel like it's trying to, it's a perfect summer record. My only complaint is that quite a few of the songs have a similar sound I wish she'd have switched some of them up a bit while still keeping that same mellow tone. Still amazing. Highlights for me are Fallen Fruit, Big Star and Stoned at the Nail Salon.

Aug 20, 2021O álbum está incrível, Lorde continua mostrando que é sim o futuro da música como David Bowie disse e prova que nunca estará acomodada num estilo musical pois ela é muito criativa e talentosa pra se limitar.

Sep 19, 2021Solar Power is a collection of subdued songs, which are quite similar to each other with only few elements tearing them apart. Just like Taylor Swift's folk albums, songs from Solar Power can be an okay background music with only few standout tracks. The title tracks shows that Lorde knows how to build-up the song, while "Mood Ring" has nice production choices.

Aug 20, 2021it’s so beautiful it fits her so well i think her changing her tune was the right decision this album was worth the wait it’s so incredibly beautiful and the way she’s connecting with her roots in it
-
Aug 20, 2021Simply outstanding! Lorde is a genius with her music. This is my favorite album from her
-
Aug 20, 2021É um álbum puro e limpo com muito sentimentalismo, apesar de algumas faixas serem muito fracas, a sonoridade do álbum é diferente de tudo que Lorde já fez e é isso que o torna interessante.

Aug 20, 2021Beautiful songwriting, as lorde herself said: no weak lines on this one. Such new soundscapes and style but you can still hear that lorde stamp within, it is definitely a great timeless production.
-
Aug 20, 2021So different from her previews work, but definitely an amazing album! Great songs, beautiful lyrics and sounds, that in a couple years we will hear in every artist.
-
Aug 20, 2021The album was very underwhelming after such a masterpiece like Melodrama. It would’ve been less upsetting if she released it earlier so people wouldn’t have raised expectations to a high level. Cute beach album but that’s all.
-
Aug 24, 2021Whatever California and Big Star are the best tracks of this brilliant album.
-
Aug 20, 2021Solar power was a good record, I truly enjoyed it, but melodrama and pure heroine are way better

Aug 20, 2021The amount of detail in this album makes up for a 4 year wait. That isn’t delusional.
-
Aug 20, 2021I think the album gets better everytime you listen to it. It is definitely a good album.
-
Aug 20, 2021An incredibly cohesive sound for this long-awaited third album. It's like waking up sunburnt at 4PM wondering what life really means, but gently, without blaming yourself, with grown awareness of what it means to be young (but not that young anymore) and alive (in a world that's dying). Not an easy one to listen to, but it caresses and blesses you with warm, tired sunlight. Loved it.

Aug 20, 2021Lorde's Solar Power is the dreamy, euphoric and self-reflecting album that will heal your wounds from riding through Lorde's violent wave of emotions of her past two albums.

Aug 20, 2021This is like a comforting hug from an old friend. I hope we stop comparing this to melodrama. They are two very different album.

Aug 20, 2021The album is so calm and intense. I am so grateful to live with Lorde at the same time.
-
Aug 20, 2021She’s only getting bad reviews because she changes her style, but that’s a good thing that people should appreciate. Fallen fruit, The man with the axe and The path are the high levels of the album

Aug 30, 2021All these connections Lorde is trying to make: her strange pastiche imagination of the ’70s, that random spoken word interlude by Robyn about climate change, and the themes of “sun healing,” never fully reach each other. Often, they come off as disingenuous and out of touch more than they read as brilliant, or comical. Whether the album is one big prank, or just one majorly failed experiment, the gist of having the “privilege to ignore” is lost in translation. All you are left with is just a handful of pretty alright songs.
-
Aug 26, 2021If you're riding and vibing with Lorde, this bright shapelessness is superb mood music. If you're not riding her wave, Solar Power can seem elusive, even cloying, as it circles and sways with a smile.

Aug 26, 2021This might not be the album that everyone wanted from Lorde, but it’s a solid, dreamy effort that deserves exploration. There’s plenty here worthy of attention if you can focus for long enough.
