Aug 21, 2021In short, this is a Jack Antonoff vanity project. Lorde shines on a few tracks (Stoned at the Nail Salon). Unfortunately, most of the album sounds like a "Chemtrails" B-Side. It's like Jack said, "hey Lorde, I have these songs Lana couldn't work with, can you?" Lorde proceeded to polish Jack's turd. Why did I give it a 9? Because it's still great overall and few tracks are amazing.

Aug 20, 2021An absolutely beautiful album! It's about appreciating the life that you have. All the little moments. It's a reminder not everything in life has to be this big bang. I like that. I guess after going through everything we have in the last one and a half year, that's the reminder we needed!

Aug 20, 2021no podía esperar menos de la madre de la música, una vez más Lorde demostrando su versatilidad con este trabajo

Aug 20, 202110/10 for me, the album is so dreamy. I love the intrumentals and honestly everything in general.
-
Aug 20, 2021This is so chill and fresh at the same time, totally new sound in Lorde, the entire album it feels so close and warming
-
Aug 20, 2021This album is amazing. It’s different from what she had made the last few years, but it’s experimental and pretty much a grower on me (except fallen fruit and mood ring which is an instant bop). IM IN LOVE WITH THIS NEW DIRECTION!!

Aug 20, 2021It's not Lorde's problem that you still has an unresolved trauma with your ex and that you're expecting for another Melodrama album. Well, bestie you're just unhappy. Don't blame it to The Lorde. Get therapy.

Sep 9, 2021After Lorde's amazing, groundbreaking Melodrama, Solar Power seems weak in comparison, with the same, airy and boring theme running through. The lyricism is also subpar. The ideas that are trying to be presented are either not being done well or just weak. I don't know what happened to Lorde but this is definitely a great disappointment.

Aug 21, 2021every time i listen to solar power i learn a new thing, discover a new meaning, hear a new sound. this album is like a mine, the more you dig the more gems you find in this masterpiece of a record. this album is something to digest and savour over time. lorde has created an experience, not just an album.

Aug 20, 2021Totally different sound. With each album she's grew as a person, which is totally visible throughout this entire record. Would highly reccomend, fallen fruit being her best track on the album, a letter to her parents generation on the climate crisis that hadn't been addressed when it should of been. 10/10

Aug 20, 2021AMAZING! This album is soft and mature, and has some extraordinary tracks like Fallen Fruit, The Path and California. It ends with Oceanic Feeling, that close the album with so much feeling and emotion. Lorde is flawless as always.
-
Aug 20, 2021calling it a masterpiece now and you will too, it embodies sunshine and life as no one did
-
Aug 20, 2021Lorne’s music always comes at the right time with messages that we all need to hear. This album is no exception.
-
Aug 21, 2021Can we appreciate this new art that takes 4 years to arrive? I see a lot of people were expecting a Melodrama 2.0, but if Lorde does that then you will say “she is not reinventing herself”. So what now? APPRECIATE THIS ART, OR BETTER STOP LISTENING TO LORDE.
Este álbum tiene un 10/10 and you can't change my mind, haters. -

Aug 21, 2021lord really knew how to reinvent himself and create a desired atmosphere of calm that anyone who listens falls in love. AS GOOD AS THE OTHER ALBUMS
-
Aug 21, 2021Solar Power is freaking underrated by the critics. And i want this album to have a well deserved score from the critics

Aug 30, 2021I was very disappointed in this album. I expected something better. Dont start with the “she’s happier now” or “you said that with melodrama”, thats not what I mean by better. I meant better. The album seems anticlimactic, all the songs have the same boring energy. Only good song is mood ring.
-
Aug 31, 2021This is so disappointing, boring, without music without voice, flat. Where’s the spectacular voice of lorde????

Aug 30, 2021All these connections Lorde is trying to make: her strange pastiche imagination of the ’70s, that random spoken word interlude by Robyn about climate change, and the themes of “sun healing,” never fully reach each other. Often, they come off as disingenuous and out of touch more than they read as brilliant, or comical. Whether the album is one big prank, or just one majorly failed experiment, the gist of having the “privilege to ignore” is lost in translation. All you are left with is just a handful of pretty alright songs.
-
Aug 26, 2021If you're riding and vibing with Lorde, this bright shapelessness is superb mood music. If you're not riding her wave, Solar Power can seem elusive, even cloying, as it circles and sways with a smile.

Aug 26, 2021This might not be the album that everyone wanted from Lorde, but it’s a solid, dreamy effort that deserves exploration. There’s plenty here worthy of attention if you can focus for long enough.
