    I don't know what problems the judges have with Katy Perry. She delivered everything in this album! Perfect lyrics, perfect songs and a breathtaking production (made by her) in this album. I think they have problems with her, not with the album (what should have been analyzed from the beginning). Katy made what she do best: music with ❤️

    This album is magical and perfect for the current moment, it would only be even better if there was no pandemic so we could dance at parties, but why not dance at home ?! Katy overcame everything and this is the best record of her career. An objective and clear album is not about being 100% happy, it is about overcoming and learning to live.

I was kinda worried about her recent single and worry that this album will underperform like “Witness” or the background instrumentals will sound a little bit dull like her previous record. HOWEVER, the present of “Cry About It Later” and “Not the End of the World” just WOW me, the later one especially feels like “Dark Horse” and “Black Widow”(alsoI think Katy Perry just redeemed herself.     This album is cohesive. Every 3 tracks tell the part of the big story. in 3rd part she finds her smile back. She brings new sounds to her discography, she never done an euro pop song like Teary Eyes before, and also funky song like Champagne Problems. Nothing alike to her last albums, this is brand new. She evolved a lot yet she proved that she is a legend of pop music, she is the master.This album is cohesive. Every 3 tracks tell the part of the big story. in 3rd part she finds her smile back. She brings new sounds to her discography, she never done an euro pop song like Teary Eyes before, and also funky song like Champagne Problems. Nothing alike to her last albums, this is brand new.     Such a good album. I actually did not expect it to be this good, but ita amazing. Not The End Of The World is literally her best song since like 2016. This album is full of bops, it don’t deserve the hate it got. Thanks, Katy❤️

    Katy Perry uses this composition method, which is motivate herself writting songs with that sadness or that lowness, and making it the opposite, helping us to get up and stay chill!     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
