    Non sono un fan di Katy Perry, conosco solo le sue hits del passato eppure questo album mi ha fatto innamorare al primo ascolto, e pensare che la stessa cose è successa per Dua Lipa con Future Nostalgia, che invece oggi mi ha deluso con quella sottospecie di remix. Speriamo la Perry possa tornare in cima alle classiche, magari con la giusta scelta di singoli e contenuti più validi.

    Com certeza um dos melhores álbuns da carreira da Katy, se não o melhor. Ela conseguiu transmitir tudo que ela queria dizer utilizando uma sonoridade muito bem desenvolvida. Algumas músicas te fazem dançar e pular por todo lugar, outras trazem uma vibe trap arrepiante e outras são pra ouvir calminho no seu lugar. Simplesmente o Smile traz uma experiência completa.

    Never Really Over- a BOP. It should've been a massive hit. Cry About It Later- another    One of Katy Perry's best. if you ask me. It just so iconic.

    Smile- really good. Deserved much more.
    Champagne Problems- not really my favorite, but it's still good.
    Tucked- again not my favorite, but still really good.
    Harleys In Hawaii- great song. Another song that deserved much more.
    Only Love- another very personal song. I feel that Katy exposed herself in this one, just made herself vulnerable. A true emotional song.
    What Makes A Woman- only with the title you can understand what this song is about and why it is so good.    … Expand

    She has been able to reinvent herself after Witness which was not on top with an interesting work. First 3 tracks are absolute bangers, very dancy, very pop. Only love, with her gospel influence is an absolute masterpiece, maybe one of her best songs in the entire career.

    Great album. Katy Perry keeps talking to the audience at her best. Some songs stand out for bringing together elements that cause a perfect storm, but the track list connects in such a pleasant way that after the last beat of What Makes A Woman a smile of relief in times of pandemic is the only possible reaction.

    Não existem músicas ruins e está tudo muito coeso. No fim,ficamos com uma sensação de queremos mais.

    Without a doubt, Katy returns stronger than ever and showed her talent as only she knows how to do it. Each of the songs are spot on and it is difficult to choose a single song, however, "Cry About It Later" is a piece that grabs you from the start.

    There's a interesting division on the    Katy Perry's one of the biggest names of the Pop Industry, and she's back with the new album Smile, exploring again all the sweet and powerfull Fresh Summer Pop! The last album, Witness, showed to us a part most mature and darker of Katy Perry, and we should be thankfull to this era, cuz the rejection made this Album be trully melancholy and stronger!
    There's a interesting division on the tracklist, starting with a single and after 2 exclusive songs. Separating from this cicle, we have 4 different parts, showing a great evolution in the lyrics! Never Really Over, Cry About It Later and Teary Eyes are exactly when she felt rejected when the world didn't wanted to witness her and just had to 'keep on dancing', the tone of her voice in the track 2 its melancholy, meaning to me like she's saying to herself 'Don't cry Now, You'll have to enjoy!'
    Daisies, Resilient and 'NTEOTW' show her fighting agains the sadness and the rejection, finally understanding what's really matters for her. Smile, Champagne Problems and Tucked is a big evolution on the storyline cuz she finally knew what's important for her and finally find again her smile!
    The last part with Harleys In Hawaii, Only Love and What Makes A Woman, she finally show that she is Katheryn, and that's this process made she a most Powerful Woman!
    The first 6 tracks are my favorites, we can see the same Katy Perry from Witness, but she's lost in the Dark! But when she got back to smile, I see a new Katy Perry, that remind me the best part of her career, but most Interesting!

    Um dos melhores álbuns pop do ano, os críticos nunca foram muito agradáveis com os álbuns da Katy Perry e ainda sim ela manteve a sua relevância no público. O Smile possui músicas muito boas, das quais merecem maior atenção Not The End of The World, Teary Eyes e Cry About it Later, que são músicas perfeitas.

    10 years after Teenage Dream, she’s still here making better music than ever before. People want her to stick to bubble gum pop but over years she has sonically matured and this album is the proof of that. Give it a listen and you’ll fall in love with this album.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
