    Katy Perry never disappoints, and this album is full of amazing songs. The track run of the first three songs is simply mind blowing. Definitely a great & enjoyable record full of deep, catchy, and fun lyrics.

    At first listen this album really did not resonate the message I wanted to hear, but in the two year perspective a lot has happened.

    The songs are catchy, relatable and pleasing to the ear. This may not have been the “comeback” album us fans are waiting for but I can say that this body of work really contribute to my SMILE today.

No fue buena la elección de los sencillos, pero no afectó al álbum en los absoluto. Es un concepto que es triste pero oscuro a la vez, dándole lo que quiere a sus fans.     Katy Perry experiencing a new one after the disastrous "Witness" was, showing new Indie sounds, the perfect mix surpassing albums like "Teenage Dream". Although the album was not well received by the general public it is a good album if you want a "PERRY EXPERIENCE".

    At this point in her career, I feel like she's just doing whatever makes herself happy, and that's simply enough. Personally I think the album itself is a 7 to 8; however, because the critics have been too harsh on her, I would give her another point just for that.

    Smile manages to be better than its predecessor, Witness. But it is still behind the illuminated PRISM.
    NRO, CAIL, TE, CP, Tucked, HIH are the best tracks, the rest are, unfortunately, forgettable and expendable.

    O sorriso amarelou? Nem tanto. Katy entregou um álbum divertido e até interessante. Senti algumas boas mudanças dos álbuns interiores, mas ela entregando um pop um pouco mais maduro seria algo maravilhoso e que eu iria querer muito escutar. "Never Really Over" tá aí de prova que ela pode fazer isso e muito mais. Enfim, a felicidade da artista vem em primeiro lugar.

    Katy vuelve con su quinto álbum de estudio apenas horas después de haber dado a luz a su primogénita antecedido de varios sencillos como Daisies, Smile, entre otros, lamentablemente esta nueva era de Perry inició con el pie izquierdo ya que ningún sencillo estrenado previamente logró éxito, a excepción de Daisies que llegó a la posición #40 de los rankings estadounidenses. Desde WitnessKaty vuelve con su quinto álbum de estudio apenas horas después de haber dado a luz a su primogénita antecedido de varios sencillos como Daisies, Smile, entre otros, lamentablemente esta nueva era de Perry inició con el pie izquierdo ya que ningún sencillo estrenado previamente logró éxito, a excepción de Daisies que llegó a la posición #40 de los rankings estadounidenses. Desde Witness (2017) su público comenzó a darle la espalda y ni se diga del público en general lo cual ocasionó que la cantante de pop experimentara problemas de depresión severos, en base a esa experiencia y a su maternidad es como Smile fue concebido, un álbum que a simple vista parece ser más de lo mismo, de hecho, en cuestión de sonidos no hay una evolución notoria ni mucho menos una joya memorable como lo fue Teenage Dream, pero en cuestión de videos musicales puso lo mejor de sí misma aún en tiempos de pandemia y sus letras no es más que un reflejo de lo duro que han sido para Katy los últimos años y como le ha afectado el recibimiento de sus últimas canciones. Apunto a que no es una joya como Prism ni tampoco una biblia del pop como Teenage Dream, pero sin duda es un álbum que merece la pena y que ojalá su público la apoye como se merece.

    It is strange how many fans of Lady Gaga insist on coming here to give a low rating to the album.
    Smile is a much more pleasant and cohesive project than the previous Witness. Katy is more comfortable with the sound and more confident in her compositions. Cyr it About Later would undoubtedly be a commercially successful single with a proper promotion

Though most of the album sounds quite generic and can be forgettable, they all make for a vibrant and moving listening experience. Perry's vocals also contribute to the wonderfulness of the LP. Overall, I have to say that "Smile" is one of Katy's bestAt first, I wasn't really impressed with this album. A few listens later and Katy Perry's 6th studio album "Smile" has made me, well, smile! Though most of the album sounds quite generic and can be forgettable, they all make for a vibrant and moving listening experience. Perry's vocals also contribute to the wonderfulness of the LP.     This Album may have some "not perfect" songs, but the 80% of them is really good!! I love "Not the end of the world" and "Cry about it later", they are a bop in my opinion! I also like " Only love" and "Tucked".     Overall I really like the album. It shares similar characteristics with her previous albums Prism and Witness. The Album is truly inspirational.. My favourite tracks were What Makes a Woman, Tucked and Only Love. Katy definitely didn't let us down. The album loses minor points due to it not being very cohesive, and also 1 or 2 forgettable songs.

    Smile is the perfect pop comeback for Katy, with the bad reception to her last album ‘Witness’ Smile delves into the struggles she has faced in her day to day life since then. Then we arrive to a section of the album which focuses on the complexities of Katy’s relationships over the past three years; with ‘Champagne Problems’ communicating a fun message of love and the back and forth that comes with it, creating for a fun relatable song with an upbeat and catchy production. ‘Tucked’ gives us a glimpse of the only Teenage Dream Katy writing style we have came to know and love, taking a fun message of youthful obsession aided by the quirky production. ‘Harley’s In Hawaii’ is a mouthwatering track, this style of music nobody is doing right now really putting her in her own lane, the stunning use of guitar and traditional instrument creates for a summer love anthem, furthermore the fun and addictive lyrics really draw you in and captivate your senses, almost synaesthetic in its story-telling. The penultimate track ‘Only Love’ is an adorable homage to the art of Love. This track is produced in a way that complements Katy’s vocals and lyrics sending shivers down your spine at some points the vocal/instrumental combo is that beautiful. This song really shows how Katy has grown and became stronger, we see how the resilience gained from the other tracks have had an impact. The final track ‘What Makes A Woman’ id a beautiful homage to all women, but specifically her beautiful baby girl ‘Daisy Dove Bloom’ conveying a message of empowerment. In these gloomy times we really needed this incredible feminist anthem, also making for the perfect closer to the album, really the epitome of resilience, change and regaining your smile.… Expand

    What a fun and beautiful album! Most of the songs are jams that really can bring a smile back, a sense of gratitude and moving on with a happy life. I'm obsessed with "Tucked", "Teary Eyes", "Champagne Problems", "Harley's in Hawaii" and "What Makes a Women" (the ending of this song is just... Feels!). Gonna keep it on repeat

    There's a interesting division on the tracklist, starting with a single and after 2 exclusive songs. Separating from this cicle, we have 4 different parts, showing a great evolution in the lyrics! Never Really Over, Cry About It Later and Teary Eyes are exactly when she felt rejected when the world didn't wanted to witness her and just had to 'keep on dancing', the tone of her voice in the track 2 its melancholy, meaning to me like she's saying to herself 'Don't cry Now, You'll have to enjoy!'
    Daisies, Resilient and 'NTEOTW' show her fighting agains the sadness and the rejection, finally understanding what's really matters for her. Smile, Champagne Problems and Tucked is a big evolution on the storyline cuz she finally knew what's important for her and finally find again her smile!
    The last part with Harleys In Hawaii, Only Love and What Makes A Woman, she finally show that she is Katheryn, and that's this process made she a most Powerful Woman!
    The first 6 tracks are my favorites, we can see the same Katy Perry from Witness, but she's lost in the Dark! But when she got back to smile, I see a new Katy Perry, that remind me the best part of her career, but most Interesting!

    Tutte le canzoni sono delle fantastiche Ballad e ti coinvolgono sin dal primo ascolto. Solo Resilient e What Makes a Woman non convincono più di tanto ma per il resto è un mix di felicità, incoraggiamento e amore assurdo!

    There’s so much hate being spread against Katy. People say Katy doesn’t have hits anymore, but her music is good to listen to. If another singer had released the same album people would have said “this is the album of the year”. At least, Katy is living one of the best moments of her life. ♥️

    Smile is a really good album, and I feel it was really worth the wait. It is my favorite Katy album and it will probably be my favorite Katy album for a long time! My favorite tracks are Not the End of the World, Champagne Problems, and Tucked. I suggest listening for sure!!

    This is definitely not a legend like Teenage Dream Or Prism , but this album is really good. It has 80's , 00's , rock , soft , disco . This album will just make you Smile :) Not The End Of The World , Champagne Problems , Never Really Over , Harleys In Hawaii and Cry About It Later is the best songs on the album so far. You need to listen it , you will enjoy :)

The Healing part starts with Never Really Over and the next two songs that have the same feeling. The Resilience part that stars with Daisies and the next two songs that really make you feel good and empowered.     Despite some critics are giving regular reviews against this album, Katy Perry gave us one of the best pop albums of 2020. This is the proof she can do amazing bops without any featuring. The only bad thing I found about this project is the length, because once it ends you wish it had last more and more.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
