"Not the end of the World" take us to another level, each time you put that on replay you can notice a different beat or emotion. The only thing I can say is that - Hope this quarantine can go away so I can dance listening to "Teary Eyes". Won't say that is herCan't deny that "Smile" has everything we need to smile, to dance and to feel the real Katy's feeling during those past years. The only thing I can say is that - Hope this quarantine can go away so I can dance listening to "Teary Eyes". Won't say that is her best album cause we still have (thanks God) "Teenage Dream" but there's no way to compare both - She won't give us another Teenage Dream even because we already have it! So, if you guys wanna hear a teenage dream, go and listen to that but if you wanna hear some others masterpieces, this is the correct album.
    2 years working on that really worth it!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Pure Pop Perfection. Never really over is the perfect opener, Cry about it later reminds me of Katy’s debut album one of the boys with that electric guitar toward the end of the song Champagne problems is a grower.

    This album is amazing! I'm addicted to all the songs, I really can't stop listening. Man, Katy Perry is perfect and I love this album with all my soul. The beat of the songs, the lyrics, I love everything without exception.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
