    This album really reminds me of Teenage Dream. It has great storytelling and presents very coherent songs. Except for the song Smile, I find all songs very pleasant. Every song is a hit... Cry About It Later, Teary Eyes, Not The End Of The World, Champagne Problems and Tucked, they all should be single. Well done, Katy! I hope you don't forget them as you forgot Legendary Lovers and Roulette.

    Un álbum demasiado bueno, no entiendo por qué algunas personas dicen que este álbum es inadecuado o aburrido y "flopero".
    Este álbum tiene todo lo que tenga que tener, Katy siempre hace oro en su música y ha inspirado a otras artistas, total, todo lo que venga de Katy es bueno, a mi parecer si.

Con solo escuchar las primeras canciones uno puede transportarse a otra dimensión y olvidar todos sus problemas, eso es algo que caracteriza mucho a la intérprete, lanzar canciones que ayudan a sobrepasar esos problemas que tiene uno como adolescentes, pero no solo ellos pueden ser ayudados con su música, sino todo el mundo que la escucha, un claro ejemplo es la canción cry about latter, dando a entender que debemos dejar todo atrás y llorar por eso después.… Expand

Para mi era imposible que Katy perry superará Teenage Dream, y este álbum me ha hecho darme cuenta que es el mejor álbum de Katy Perry hasta ahora. Ritmos increíbles y pegadizos, letras hermosas, Katy siempre ha tenido el talento de transmitir emociones y hacerte querer bailar y al mismo tiempo tener una letra increíble. Las críticas de este álbum no tienen lógica, no les hagan caso a las negativas, solo son de criticos que desearon ser artistas y no pudieron y tienen que conformarse con pensar que saben de música y escribir sobre eso, les gusta lo que esta de “moda” entonces ellos no son importantes como para tomarlos en cuenta. TD también tuvo criticas malas y fue el álbum que hizo que Katy Perry igualará un record de Michael Jackson, Prism fue #1 y también tuvo malas críticas al igual que Witness que fue #1. Entonces los criticos no valen la pena, ellos no importan. ESTE ÁLBUM ES HERMOSO, NO TIENE UNA CANCIÓN QUE SALTES, TODO ES INCREÍBLE.     after three years receive "an astral travel of sound and symphonies called smile". I really like this album because it has very different sounds and melodies, no song is alike and they all have a different touch. musically it makes me travel, relax and empower me, also reflect. I think I know the best albums of this year.

    The album is full of amazing, uplifting songs that tell a rather personal story for Katy, with which we can all relate in some level. Her journey was filled with ups and downs and Smile clearly reflects that. She delivered everything she promised and more, returning to The formula that made her the pop phenomenon she is.

    Opening the album with a therapeutic boop, Katy Perry brings us one of the best albums released in 2020 and overall. Despite not having released the best tracks as singles with music video, Katy uses that choice as the main concept of the album, where it leads us to recover our smile.

    Tracks like Cry About It Later and Teary Eyes they completely take us back to the eras of the 2000s.    Opening the album with a therapeutic boop, Katy Perry brings us one of the best albums released in 2020 and overall. Despite not having released the best tracks as singles with music video, Katy uses that choice as the main concept of the album, where it leads us to recover our smile.

    Tracks like Cry About It Later and Teary Eyes they completely take us back to the eras of the 2000s. Champagne Problems and Tucked transport us back to their hit era Teenage Dream with Witness influences.

    And to close the album, he leaves us a moment of family reflection with Only Love, and a perfect ending with What Makes a Woman, with folk influences, sounding like an end to this album, but a start for KP6.    … Expand

The subtle oxymoronic lyrics and song production at some points are a reminder for us to not take anything at face value, just like a smile could be fake. We defer the crying from an ex-string attached, just to find us dancing with teary eyes in the next. We go through exuberantThis piece of art is a journey from diagnosis to therapy and finally recovery, in the most sanguine of ways. The subtle oxymoronic lyrics and song production at some points are a reminder for us to not take anything at face value, just like a smile could be fake. We defer the crying from an ex-string attached, just to find us dancing with teary eyes in the next. We go through exuberant resilience followed by a triumphant anthem, Smile, after which we find new ways to experience love and question how it came to be.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
