    Katy ha hecho un magnífico trabajo, las canciones suenan tan bien una tras otra,como si fuera una historia, sería un error calificar este album como mas de lo mismo cuando no lo es, ella logro plasmar su etapa de lucha y de maduración, contándonos como lucho para salir adelante y como recupero su sonrisa pese a tantas críticas.

    I cant understand why Smile is this years second most discussed album but I just wanna say, antis keep saying she is irrelevant but keep talking about her. Anyway, Smile is Katy's most strong album up to date, a quarantine album and she was pregnant whole this time. Recorded many music videos for her songs and still recording many more is pretty impressive. Anyway, Smile is Katy's most strong album up to date, a quarantine album and she was pregnant whole this time. Recorded many music videos for her songs and still recording many more is pretty impressive. She is taking the high road, probably her most mature work up to date. Tracks: What Makes a Woman, Only Love, Cry About It Later are showing her growth. As she said before, she doesn't care about charts anymore. She only cares about making music and continuing her legacy. Also as she said before she loves doing music and she won't quit making bops. Overall Smile is her best work, most mature work, most Katy work. Really showed the real side of Katy with 12 bops. And there are two extra tracks, one of them is an unreleased song called "Energy" and the other one is a Target-exclusive track "High On Your Supply". Honestly if she added those songs to album, the album would have been 11/10. She is not a "one hit wonder", she is a "wonder".… Expand

    I actually really liked Smile. It feels like she's finally found her sound which is a mixture of soft rock, pop, and of course dance. While this feels like another Teenage Dream, Katy succeeds in making it sound new and modern. We can hear the big productions of Witness, the empowering tones of Roar and Firework, and as mentioned before the soft rock of One of the Boys. Overall, SmileI actually really liked Smile. It feels like she's finally found her sound which is a mixture of soft rock, pop, and of course dance. While this feels like another Teenage Dream, Katy succeeds in making it sound new and modern.     si volviéramos a estar en cuarentena definitivamente SMILE sería el álbum qué escucharía. las canciones te llevan a un lugar magnífico y y hacen bailar incluso si tienes los ojos llorosos. no puedo pedir más ¡ES PERFECTO! en poco tiempo se volvió mi álbum favorito bajando a Prism.

    I decided to listen to this album on a whim and so far I have really enjoyed it. It is catchy but not in a hyper bubble gum pop way. The lyrics are good and meaningful. Teary Eyes is probably my favorite from my first listen through.

Katy es de esas artistas que se reinventan de pies a cabeza en cada uno de sus álbumes y nos da excelentes piezas de arte. Aunque su salida de los charts fue en verdad algo doloroso para ella, le hizo exigirse mucho más de lo que solía hacerlo y sacar a flote todo su potencial como una verdadera artista. Este álbum es una obra de arte en todos los sentidos, la letra, la producción, el esfuerzo, la dedicación, todo. Es increíble que absolutamente todas las canciones son tan perfectas y que ninguna parezca algún relleno. Independientemente de todo el odio que sigue recibiendo y que muchos fans no la apoyan me atrevo a decir que es el mejor álbum de su carrera y del 2020. Excelente trabajo, Katheryn. No sólo por mantenerse fiel a si misma como siempre lo ha hecho, sino por la intención de este álbum, el traernos una sonrisa al rostro, alegría, esperanza y amor.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
