    A wonderful album from beginning to end. The lyrics on the album match a lot of what Katy went through during her depression, and after she got better. The melodies are excellent and dancing. Thank you and good luck Katy!

    A Step up from Witness, with music straight from Katy Perry's heart like Daisies, What Makes a Woman, Resliant, Its not the End Of the World. After the abuse she suffered from General Public for basically nothing she finally has her smile back and I love to see, Katy Perry is incredible and this Album is beautiful with Zero Skips

    The best album of Katy Perry so far! Both production and lyrics are phenomenal. My personal favorite Not the End of the World sounds like it came straight out of a movie. The album tracks represent Katy’s personal journey through depression and coming out of it, finding back her SMILE.

    While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
