    The album is perfect lyrically sonically and vocally. I love how Selena made it her job to deliver us a story made by her about her that simply explains herself and introducing herself as someone who RARE. She has yet to make a bad record and with this record she proves that she can only get better! Well done Selena you made an amazing work of art!

    Selena continues to grow as an artist and proves she knows what she is doing in the pop world. Revival is already an amazing album, but she just showed Revival that Rare is so much better than its older sister. Rare can really be Selena's first Grammy nomination or even win.

    vulnerable honest strong are three words that describe this album. Selena came with a totally different album a different sound and it’s an act of braveness because this kind of sound is not the hot trend right now. RARE by Selena Gomez gave us a break from this fast songs trend from artist that only care about sales about money! Well done miss Gomez

    I love it ! I definitely love how the rythm is different in every song ! The lyrics are definitely great and the featuring with 6LACK and Kid Cudi are awesome. The album really shows the feelings and everything Selena survived during those 4 years. I would definitely recommend everyone to listen to it. My favorite songs of the album are : Rare, Ring, Cut you off and Sweeter place.

"Dance Again" is a club song, and it is fittingly titled because it makes you want to move. The poppy "Look At Her Now" describes the place where Gomez is at now. "Cut You Off" is quite literally about cutting someone off from your life after realizing you have had enough. Closer track, "A Sweeter Place" features Kid Cudi and his production. Gomez describes about going to a place where she does not have to feel worried.

    'Rare' is a fresh, original and cohesive album. I can find similarities with Selena's past songs, like 'Fetish' and 'Bad Liar', but there are also new elements that showcase her maturity and nonconformity. Selena's shown to be brave and one of a kind, but also that we should respect her decision to take her time to make her own art, because, as this album shows, it works.

    Selena really put her all into this album. Every song is so different that it felt like I was listening to multiple different albums. There is truly something for everyone. She has shown that she stands on her own and DOESN'T need to rely on anyone else to remain relevant. She is her own person in this industry and is willing to take risks and try new sounds. Lose You to Love Me remains the strongest track for me, but Crowded Room, A Sweeter Place, and Vulnerable are something special too. Oh, and listen to Ring if you want to hear something from her that you’ve never ever heard before. I love seeing all these different sides of someone people try so hard to paint as stagnant.     One of the best albums I've heard in my life. Has zero skips (even though my least fav is Fun). And this album shows how Selena Gomez found her voice and her artistic growth since her album Revival. I love how the majority of the songs have the 'I'm a bad b*tch and I'm better now' vibe. I'm actually happy that she took 4 or so years to make this album bc trust me, the wait was WORTH IT 100%.

    You come for the features but stay for Gomez. Though the music is fresh and experimental it is still familiar. It’s a reminder that music can still be fun and personal. Sonically brilliant so many sounds the make the album cohesive. She also sounds great ! Hidden gems on this album include Ring and Let me get me .

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
