Rare gives us a break from monotonous music released so far with repetitive lyrics thatRare, an album filled with sultry pop masterpieces like 'Ring' and 'A Sweeter Place' that are able to change and refresh the audiences mind to follow Gomez's words. Despite taking 4 years before making an appearance, the album exudes a startlingly different tune from all other music released in 2019. Rare gives us a break from monotonous music released so far with repetitive lyrics that other artists seem to push into audiences for the sole purpose of extra radio play or numbers. Gomez establishes herself from this crowd with soft bit impacting songs like 'vulnerable' and 'cut u off', baring her soul in beautiful tone and rhythm.     O álbum é de extrema coesão, é bem estruturado e percebe-se vulnerabilidade por tratar de questões tão pessoais e mesmo assim mostrar-se forte e feliz passando por todas essas situações, a voz calma de Gomez transmite estar confortável pelo momento que está passando, vejo amadurecimento se comparado ao Revival, suas letras estão esclarecedoras e cativantes

    Un chef-d’œuvre, Revival était excellent déjà mais alors là elle a frappé encore plus fort, son album est rempli d’authenticité, mais également pousse a s’accepter et a s’aimer, les chansons sont toutes puissantes, Lose You To Love Me reste une chanson extrêmement forte dans cet album et désormais accompagné du reste de l’album elle devient presque plu intéressante. Tout comme Look At HerUn chef-d’œuvre, Revival était excellent déjà mais alors là elle a frappé encore plus fort, son album est rempli d’authenticité, mais également pousse a s’accepter et a s’aimer, les chansons sont toutes puissantes, Lose You To Love Me reste une chanson extrêmement forte dans cet album et désormais accompagné du reste de l’album elle devient presque plu intéressante. Tout comme Look At Her Now qui accompagné du reste de l’album devient plus emblématique des émotions de Selena Gomez. Après plus de 4 années d’attentes depuis Revival Selena marque son retour avec un album très personnel et très réussi, elle a dead ça wesh. Qui plus est elle n’a pas énormément promu son album et pourtant elle aurait dû car il vaut le coup d’être écouté, Rare l’un des meilleurs album de 2020 assurément si ce n’est le meilleur d’avance, et pourquoi pas de la décennie qui arrive. Elle qui subit énormément de critiques, elle vient de prouver qu’elle était une artiste accomplie et que ses talents n’étaient plus à démontrer. A masterpiece, Revival was excellent already but then she struck even harder, her album is full of authenticity, but also pushes to accept and love, the songs are all powerful, Lose You To Love Me remains an extremely strong song in this album and now accompanied by the rest of the album it becomes almost more interesting. Just like Look At Her Now which accompanied by the rest of the album becomes more emblematic of Selena Gomez's emotions. After more than 4 years of waiting since Revival Selena marks her return with a very personal and very successful album, she has dead it wesh. What is more, she did not promote her album very much and yet she should have been because it is worth listening to, Rare one of the best album of 2020 certainly if not the best in advance, and why not from the coming decade.     I have yet to hear a pop album as cohesive and beautiful as this one. Each song leads perfectly into the next and each message is so strong and beautiful. Selena has always done a good job at conveying emotions through her songs, but never like this.

    A totally new but fitting sounds for Selena! She explores different styles throughout 13 songs and it doesn’t disappoint. Perfect music to blast in the car, listen to at a concert, or just while you’re cleaning. 10/10

    Every single song on Rare has something beautiful to offer. The album is more sonically cohesive than anything Selena has put out thus far! The excellent lyricism and catchy beats will make it a favorite for years to come. An incredible start to 2020!

    Every song on here is creative, different, and catchy. From Bad liar to Dance again, the genres change but the feel good feeling stays. Crowded room is r&b, Dance again is disco, etc. Overall, it is an amazing album. I LOVE it.

The melodies are so good and versatile and then the lyrics hit you. You need to listen a few times to get it and every time you play you can feel what she has felt. Other notable stand outs are Vulnerable, which gives Taylor Swift Delicate vibes. The two features on the album, Crowded Room with 6lack and A Sweeter Place with Kid Cudi are also incredible songs.     While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
