    Selena Gomez can do no wrong when it comes to pop music. A lot of the songs follow the same minimalist alternative feeling as her 2016 single “Bad Liar,” which is a really great thing.

    Worth the 4 year wait! I love this album so much that I had a hard time ranking my favourites because each track in this masterpiece takes you from a mixture of multiple genres to another.

    Top 5 are Dance Again, Cut You Off, Rare, Lose You To Love Me and Fun :)

    From the first track to the very last, each song have different sounds and and subgenres. In Rare, you'd find yourself a cohesive album yet with a bunch of different sounds that brings out Gomez's speciality, which is story telling and her voice that makes you feel things and relates strongly to her message or story.

She collabs with 6lack and kid cudi for interesting sounding songs that makes sense to the album. Selena gomez presents her best work till date. Rare.

    The album went way above my expectations. Each track feeling fresh even the already heard songs like “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look At Her Now”. I enjoyed all songs because they touched in different areas of music but in the end, all perfectly synced together. I felt some groovy and disco touches on some tracks that gave me feels of Donna Summer and A Taste of Honey. In other tracks, theThe album went way above my expectations. Each track feeling fresh even the already heard songs like “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look At Her Now”. I enjoyed all songs because they touched in different areas of music but in the end, all perfectly synced together. I felt some groovy and disco touches on some tracks that gave me feels of Donna Summer and A Taste of Honey. In other tracks, the production felt incredibly mastered and fit perfectly with her voice. Selena really did incredible with this album and I absolutely loved how versatile she was over these 13 tracks! From R&B, to Bollywood to Disco, Rare was truly one of the albums I’m going to listen to repeatedly.     This is the most versatile album Selena has ever created. There is a song everyone can find themselves to enjoy. At certain moments you can find her going to 80-90s music, her experimenting with electro pop, and even R&B sounds. I noticed she tried a different approach with her vocals & production and that’s exactly what we all wanted to hear. Highly recommend.

Her voice has never sounded so amazing and confident, the songs make up a cohesive album with a new and fresh sound different to bubblegum pop a lot of singers are going for.     The entire album is a masterpiece, now i understand why she made us wait that much. In this album we can find the most strong, vulnerable and happier version of her! She actually take part of all the songs' writing process which is amazing and you can clearly see that because of the mixing feelings.     While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
