    Unique and versatile album. Selena’s best album so far because she is allowing her vulnerability to lead her fans to see through her real self. An original and genuine person which is a lot of artists do not have nowadays. She evolved from producing songs that SOUNDS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN POP to BEING ORIGINAL and owning her voice which made this rare album a 10/10.

    Her best album, thousand times better than Revival, however Revival is a banger too. It's honest, confident and sometimes even sassy. Great combination of the angelic and catchy melodies and the meaningful lyrics.

    This is by far selena’s best album, the lyrics are amazing and she got involved in the writing more than she ever had. The production is really good and give a different sound to every track but i feel like there is a same vibe in several ones. I’m so happy she found what music she wants to do

It's so cohesive, and the vibe of it all just takes you to a different space, especially in dance again, vulnerable, let me get me, and a sweeter place. 10/10, period.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
