    It's such an amazing album. There is no basic generic boring song at all. It's so unique. It's literally Selena's type of song. An album with no skip. I love it.

    Selena shows a very, very sultry and confident side with this album. A very disco dance vibe. The songs might be about love and discovering you deserve much better in life than what happens to you, but the lyrics are still different and cool. The production is clean and doesn't overpower her voice. It takes two or three listens to catch on!

    It's a MASTERPIECE. Her best album. So rare and special. Since I was a little kid I know Selena would be someone amazing. With this album she confirmed I wasn't wrong. This album is something bigger than anything we've heard from her before. The waiting was really worth it.

I was already having high expectations and expecting the unexpecting but she blew all those from me... Cause RARE is something unique and fresh and raw.... This Is totally a new sound, just like she did with Look at her now, I think I have never listen something with this style, the lyrics are so good, the production Is IN.SA.NE , its not repetitive.     The best album Selena's put out there!! It's not like any other music. It's raw, fun, RARE! It's truely just beautiful. Everyone is hating on her for not having a good voice, but I think a good voice doesn’t have to be screaming. It’s AMAZING, if I could rate it more then 10 I would!

    Selena continues to do the unexpected, expand the boundaries of what pop music can be, and set trends that we’ll be hearing a lot of in the near future. Every song has it’s own individuality and yet they all blend perfectly together to make an ethereal sonically cohesive pop masterpiece, something we haven’t seen since Taylor Swift’s “1989.”

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
