De resto é um álbum com um conceito (se é pode ser chamado de conceito) tão repetitivo que poderia facilmente ser executado em apenas 5 músicas. É cansativo ouvir 13 músicas que no final falam sobre o mesmo e ainda por cima contêm a mesma batida trap simples. Não há refrões cativantes, nada. A ariana tem uma voz incrível e desperdiçou muito talento em um álbum que não oferece nada. Facilmente o pior álbum da carreira dela, no entendo tenho esperança que o próximo será muito melhor!… Expand

    I think positions is a cohesive body of work, every song fitting for the album. The album has a poppy vibe, but I personally feel like it’s more r&b. The vocal range she displays in this album in incredible, having good lows, good chest high notes and amazing whistle notes.
    The only track that is a skip for me is shut up. The best tracks are: off the table (for both lyrics and amazing    I think positions is a cohesive body of work, every song fitting for the album. The album has a poppy vibe, but I personally feel like it’s more r&b. The vocal range she displays in this album in incredible, having good lows, good chest high notes and amazing whistle notes.
    The only track that is a skip for me is shut up. The best tracks are: off the table (for both lyrics and amazing vocals, her voice and Abel’s voice working magically together), safety net (causeis a whole vibe, is so dreamy and lovely, it’s just too heavenly), just like magic for a good pop track to dance to, my hair for the chills all over the body from the last chorus which is sang in the whistle register, positions and 34+35 are radio hits (or as we call them “bops”).

    This album is very chill, yet full of vocal showcase. Ariana never fails to show her vocal abilities and passion, which is what everybody expects from a pop/R&B album. Well done, as always!

    Con todo el respeto del mundo le pongo un 1 porque solo me gusta Positions, no digo que el álbum sea malo, simplemente a mi no me gusta.

    Positions is pop-R&B perfection. Ariana Grande managed to outdo her Thank U, Next album easily with this mid-tempo masterpiece. This album alone puts some people's entire discographies to shame (Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, to name a few). Easily the best album of 2020, Ariana Grande continues to further cement herself as the Princess of the Music Industry, reigning with her best friend,Positions is pop-R&B perfection. Ariana Grande managed to outdo her Thank U, Next album easily with this mid-tempo masterpiece. This album alone puts some people's entire discographies to shame (Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, to name a few). Easily the best album of 2020, Ariana Grande continues to further cement herself as the Princess of the Music Industry, reigning with her best friend, the Queen of the Music Industry, Mariah Carey. While some tasteless critics gave this album poor reviews because they're anti-Italian racists, this album is truly a 10/10 and the fans (and non-fans) agree.… Expand

    This is a pandemic tbh. Her worst work of art[?], well I wouldn't consider it as an art in the first place. The production is terrible, the lyricism are hideous. Two Scooter's client release a pandemic this year, it's Changes and this album. Looking at the bright side, I luv the MV of positions and 34+35 and pov are well, tolerable.

    Go girl, give us nothing!!!!

    No development at all, Ariana is in her comfortable zone, where she knows she’s a great vocalist so she doesn’t put any effort in her music anymore. Disappointed

    an album that didn't receive the recognition it should have by the critics. Ariana, i'm super proud and i loved this one. although it isn't as cohesive as your last two albums, it has zero skips. loved it.

    This album is very different from any other Ariana album, this is so much meaningful, personal and deep. She's exploring new horizons with her music, such as trap, rap, r&b and soul. All of this combined with this "Ariana flavor" we all know and love. The collaborations on this album are spot on with the topic of this album and all of their voices melt perfectly with Ariana's.

    One thing I really liked about this album is that even though the topic of the album and the lyrics in general are more "dirty" or "sexual" (not in a bad way) , the instrumentals and the vocals still very elegant and subtle. Here you can find a song called 34+35 with a very explicit lyrics, but it has violins and amazing vocals. As I said before Ariana is exploring new horizons and I'm all here for it. I've never heard anything like this before. A trap base with violins and harmonies. It's everything just perfect.    … Expand

    This is one of the best albums Ariana had, her vocals here are amazing as always and has a very nice production too, and a lot of catchy lyrics, it’s perfect

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
