Not her best album, but it isn't bad, like it. Positions, 34+35, my hair and just like magic are my favorite tracks.

So bland, repetitive and boring. I’ve been a fan of her past albums, but this I absolutely do not enjoy. On top of the generic production, the lyricism is atrocious (Can we stay up all night, f*ck me till the daylight) ?!!??? Just overall it’s incredibly weak. Very disappointing

Not her best more like she trying to follow the trend and nearly all the songs has the same R&B production and some weird ad-lib kinda disappointed.

Of couse her best album. This is her most cohesive work, each song connects perfectly to the other and none are out of place. Funny, sexy and emotional at the same time. There is nothing wrong with this piece of art.

Ariana isn't afraid to try something new and we all know that. She's stepping out of her comfort zone and she's experimenting yet again with a different genre. No one can say that its surprised by her vocals. Her vocals are on point as always. We can see that shes finally happy and its so nice to see that after what shes been through. the diversity that this album has is huge. we can sayAriana isn't afraid to try something new and we all know that. I think this is her second worst album. It is very catchy to listen to, but very repetitive. You can make R&B music with meaning too, it doesn't need to be completely about sex. 13/19 songs are about having sex all night. Which I have no problem with a few. Positions and 34+35 are bops. But 13 songs? That all sound similar AND have the same theme? I just don't get how she thought this wasI think this is her second worst album. It is very catchy to listen to, but very repetitive. Easy listening, no feelings involved and lots of car dancing! I hope she takes more time with the next one to go a deeper direction like Dangerous Woman or Ty, n had a good mix of fun and meaningful. This is surface level work for an artist who's been in the game almost a decade. Expand

this is ariana's best album, why? personal, cohesive and coherent. it's flawless. A record that feels incredibly refined, "POSITIONS" is an expert piece of R&B engineering.

I love ari, id been a fan for so long now and i gotta be honest, after listening to Positions is tiring, it old so fast, i think if ari didn't that Famous, positions didn't get that attention that other album who has deep meaning and good stuff do. I much appreciate sweetener than positions, it's medicior and unecessary song meaning, i cant stand this album but i do gave it 7, love u ari.

Not as catchy and immediate as her previews works. But perhaps her most mature album. The vocal production, lead by Ariana herself, shows her talent and how much she does enjoy her work. But the music... it almost seems like a one 40 minutes straight song (not to mention that each song lasts less than 3 minutes... too short). I don't know, I'm not fully convinced.

Did not like the beats or the music as the lyrics weren't well written, but as always she sounds amazing

Ari has more than this to offer us. Some are good songs but not a good body of work.

Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

Grande laid bare may well be seen as a stopgap in her canon, using taboo to checkmate her past trauma, but it does pull off the rare feat of at least sounding effortless.

With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
