    For those used to Ariana's pop sound, it's a grower. Just because this album doesn't have songs made for the radio, doesn't mean it's automatically bad. While Ariana is considered a pop artist, she's always had her heart in R&B. Ariana is also a sensual person, therefore it seems fitting for her music to reflect that. In my opinion, it's unreasonable for certain people to expect her toFor those used to Ariana's pop sound, it's a grower. Just because this album doesn't have songs made for the radio, doesn't mean it's automatically bad. While Ariana is considered a pop artist, she's always had her heart in R&B. Ariana is also a sensual person, therefore it seems fitting for her music to reflect that. In my opinion, it's unreasonable for certain people to expect her to make music that she's not 100% passionate about or inauthentic to who she is. I say give this album a chance without any biases of Ariana personally or your old pop favorites from her. I have a feeling that once the clubs open up and concerts can resume, Ariana will bring back some Max Martin bops.

    After two chaotic years, Ariana is healing and wants to share her journey. Many songs are filled with a beautiful orchestra, which I love. This is a very chill album for the fall/winter, so perfect timing. Overall it's a happy ending following the Sweetener and Thank u next eras. I've enjoyed Ariana's progression as an artist and I'll be having this album on repeat.    … Expand

As for the songs, there is not a single skip (which makes it very pleasant) and their collaborations were great. my favorite song is POV (please listen to it, it's beautiful in everyIt is a good album, perhaps the best of the singer. each song feels unique, has great vocals and great lyrics. the rhythm of the album (r & b) is excellent and he has a lot of coherence between his songs.     My top five is six thirty, pov, my hair, safety net and shut up. I can't stop listening to it, it's so addictive. I'm so happy that she's happy and the album is full of happy and confident songs.

    This album is amazing! How much Ariana Grande grew and matured impresses me... This album is very calm, but very interesting to hear! It doesn't have a very striking song, no extremely strong beats or something, but they are songs with relaxing beats to listen to. Congratulations Ariana Grande for delivering another perfect album!

    ariana’s worst album. i love her to dealth but she could’ve done so much better. lyrically 90% of the songs sound exactly the same theyre all so repetitive and boring. sonically they sound the same. i really expected so much more :( but POV is such a good relieving finish to the album though i love it.

    This is my first time listening to a full Ariana Grande album and I can confirm that this is one of the best things I've ever heard, the lyrical content, the production, her voice, everything is on point and perfectly executed, this is my favorite album from this year

Most people believe on the surface that the album is all about sex, and while on same tracks that’s the case, in others they lyrics go way beyond that. Ariana has proved time and time again that she is one of the vocalists of our generation and she has done it again. While this album doesn’t rely heavily on belts like her previous works, it’s focuses more in lows and whistles, parts of her range we don’t get to hear as much. You can hear Ariana tastefully sneak whistles in almost every track, nothing is too show off-y. My personal highlight on the album is the closing track “pov”. Ariana and her team created a beautiful meaningful ballad, you could tell every word Grande was saying came from the heart. One thing Ariana always does in her music, is she reminds us that she is human. Her vulnerability on all these tracks makes us feel more connected to her than ever. All in all this is a phenomenal record that everyone should check out!… Expand

    Don’t understand most ratings either 10 or zero. The amount of hate really spoiled this phenomenal body of work. This album is fantastic and shows growth the freedom of interpretation by Ariana. POV just so beautifully composed, it is the best song there is during this challenging times. Thank you Ariana and team for working on this masterpiece for us.

    Ariana constantly reinvents herself and this album showcases immense artistic growth. The album is cohesive but still every song is unique. The collaborations are phenomenal. Ariana vocals are stunning on this album and hits whistles like they’re nothing. Positions is undoubtedly one of her best works to date.

    It is so satisfying seeing albums like this, where the artist seems free and open about certain life experiences and the real reality. Although I love her older albums with many upbeat pop tracks, I can tell this is something she has always wanted to make in her career. This style and flow fits her like a glove and with that amazing soothing voice she has. I love the way she adds harmonies to all of her songs, it always just fits and sounds so right.

    This is her most honest and real album to date, and I can really tell that she worked hard on the production, lyrics and overall sounds. The lyrics are bittersweet. I am happy for her and hoping she is receiving a lot of happiness right now.

    No skip album, amazing and refreshing sounds all around. She really is the pop queen! Please go check out her new album ‘Positions’ because she really gave it her all and never disappoints!

    As for tracks, the amazing 34+35 track, along with just like magic, motive with the amazing Doja Cat, and safety net with Ty Dolla $ign are all so amazing. Ariana’s voice fits so well with all of these features on the album, and the amazing The Weeknd with another feature of theirs which was so elegant. They always come through with the best of the best!

    Proud of Ariana! This album was all around so cohesive and raw, and I was glad to see the different type of music she is able to create. Such a talented individual with so much potential. My personal favorite from her.    … Expand

    This Album is being rated as a pop album when it’s clearly R&B/soul. Of course it’s going to be slower paced. It’s a great project and Ariana’s best. Her vocal ability has improved and her production is improving.

    Her most beautiful work of art, she tops herself everytime, the low reviews on this seriously concern me, her vocals are out of this world, her voice is so fresh songs like pov and my hair just prove ariana is that girl, album of the year!

    I bought this album and If there was a way to get a refund I would. Biggest waste of money on an album that is generic & poorly produced. Extensive use of autotune, 15 producers per song making it incohesive, immature lyrics about apparently sex but you would never know because Ariana does not enunciate, repetitive & boring sound. But the biggest crime is that this album lacks any passionI bought this album and If there was a way to get a refund I would. Biggest waste of money on an album that is generic & poorly produced.     absolutely breathtaking. the WHOLE album. my recommendations are obvious, my hair and pov. although 34+35 is explicit, i do recommend for you to give it a listen!

She made a album about love and sex and she has every damn right to after all she’s been through. If i could Score this album higher than 10, I’d give it a 100 and if i could score this album higher than 100...well you get the point.… Expand

    her best body of work!! some of y’all are just tasteless. pov is a work of art, a masterpiece. the collabs are god tier. the maturity and growth positions shows while also being fun and fresh is impeccable.

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
