Es un álbum que sobrepasa todo lo antes realizado por Taylor de una forma impresionante. Algo que antes no pensabamos que Taylor fuera capaz. Nos demostró versatilidad, calidad de escribir y sobre todo un gran sentimiento en cada canción.

Album of the year by far. The production really makes the lyrics speak to you. It is impossible to sum up how great this album is. To be able to conquer country, pop and now hopefully Alternative is an achievement only the great accomplish. This is what Taylor has done. This album proves how Taylor is able to make risks, and how diverse her music is. Although the genre and production has changed from what she usually releases, one thing that never changes is the impact of her Song writing and especially in this album, her storytelling. Folklore is the perfect album in a time like today. There is no need to make complete pop songs, instead there is nothing better than being able to listen to a song and to be able to visualise what the images the lyrics are implying. This is something that you can always be guaranteed with when you listen to a Taylor Swift song. It is a leap from the pop album Lover, that was released just over 11 months ago. Overall this is a stella album that will forever be remembered as one of, if not Taylors best album Expand

Sonically, a perfect bittersweet and euphoric piece. Lyrically, an in-depth cohesive poetry book that will provoke crying. The spirit of folklore is truly evident here, an chain of storytelling that’s so allusive yet so specific. My favorite album by Taylor Swift and is already in my top 3 albums of all time and I’ve only listened to it for 24 hours.

I didn’t like this album. I excepted more from Artist of the Decade plus the fact merch was made for Autumn, Winter and she drop it now because its last week Billboard count some sales....as a fan disappointed. She should have Wait more and have less song... :((

Her most poetic yet. The most “Taylor Swift” a Taylor Swift album can be. She details an enthralling story of loss, love and youth as the album progresses. She details an enthralling story of loss, love and youth as the album progresses. The complexity of each song ties in with a desperate love story that swift is trying to tell, with key lyrics to link in each story, each individual and each emotion. Fans will have an amazing time picking apart the secret messages in the lyrics, as they engage themselves in what it means to be the subject of Swifts intent. Swift has worked through many genres, she has made every single one her own and has used them all to her absolute advantage. However, Swift needed this genre shift to demonstrate her true, authentic lyricism that is too often brushed over. This folk, indie, alternative album serves everything fans have been searching for since her depart from her third country/pop studio album, RED. After the commercial success of her previous pop albums 1989, Rep and Lover, Swifts approach to this new genre has been seamless. It is truly something that fits who she is without a doubt in anyone’s mind. This album is the type of album you want to hide away in a forest, lay on the ground, holding old literature and cry too, fall in love too and dissect everything single lyric, harmony and note. Her fans have been searching for something in her discography to rival the lyricism and intelligence in RED, her most critically acclaimed album so far, but also her most under appreciated. With Folklore, we have found it. I believe Swift has unlocked something in her musicality that she has been hiding since RED was written, her freedom, her storytelling, her openness to love and her ability to relive, create or view heartbreak and turn it into compelling poetry. This album will undoubtedly age in an incredible way, like the finest of wines produced from Europe. Long lost treasure that has been undiscovered for years. That’s what this album feels like, the feeling of running in the rain, growing old, and finding an intimate space you can only have with yourself and your thoughts. Swift allows others to experience things they never have before, through her words and her story telling. The amazing team that put together this album should be proud of themselves, it is her best work yet. It will outlive it’s time, as this album simply does not have a use-by date. I hope Swift continues with these unpopular genres and continues to make albums authentic to her, and showcase her amazing lyrical ability. Something the world needs most at this time.

A modern-folk masterpiece which finds her moving from her previous pop bangers into stunningly simple yet sharp melodies, ‘folklore’ will be going down in Swiftie history as one of her most unexpected, and undoubtedly one of her best.

These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
