Jul 25, 2020Very mature with complex lyrical content, simple yet layered productions, very fitting in this trying time and for the next autumn, winter times. A timeless classic that is even more beautiful knowing this record was made in the middle of isolation. As a long time fan, I am so proud of you, Taylor. Keep on experimenting and changing your genre for the better. Love you, from Indonesia.

Jul 25, 2020Taylor Swift with this album not only reinvents himself and goes from pop to alternative. If not, it also gives us sounds that we have never heard in it, letters and stories that inspire and make you dream. Once again she did it again and did it well.
-
Jul 25, 2020Honestly the album was a rollercoaster of emotions. The way she strings words together to give them meaning while maintaining a beautiful tune to them. This was what we needed in this depressing year and Taylor served us everything from vocals to production.

Jul 25, 2020This is Taylor's BEST album. The beautiful stroy-based lyrics, the phenomenal production and the overall aesthetic/vibes of this album, all scream one word: FLAWLESS. Im so happy that Taylor is finally making music that she loves and enjoys making, and doesnt care if the songs are chart toppers. The 16 phenomenal tracks on this wonderful album speak for themselves.

Jul 25, 2020this album is a lyrical masterpiece. It may take a listen to two to get into the lyrics but once you start to really get into it an listen, it is amazing. It perfectly encapsulates the feelings and the moods experienced during quarantine, and with Taylor's stellar vocals and deep meaningful songwriting, you'll spend hours getting lost in the worlds she creates with folklore

UncutAug 13, 2020It's a sharp turn to the left for Swift and a fine reminder that she is more than just a gleaming pop phenomenon, but a remarkable songwriter too. [Oct 2020, p.36]
-
Aug 7, 2020A modern-folk masterpiece which finds her moving from her previous pop bangers into stunningly simple yet sharp melodies, ‘folklore’ will be going down in Swiftie history as one of her most unexpected, and undoubtedly one of her best.

Aug 3, 2020These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
