    I was beautifully surprised about this album drop, it was everything I didn’t expect from Taylor in regards to the production of the music and style. This album is Red’s big sibling, more mature, emotional, and sonically cohesive. Her talent as a storyteller really shines throughout the album.

    i’ve listened fully to the entire album, and it’s not horrible. but i was expecting more i guess. this definitely isn’t her best album, but is ok. my favourite tracks are probably epiphany and betty, because of how they sound and just lyrics behind it. i do recommend this album. but i would have to rate it between 6 or 7. i do really enjoy the alternative part. but i was hoping more of ai’ve listened fully to the entire album, and it’s not horrible. but i was expecting more i guess. this definitely isn’t her best album, but is ok. my favourite tracks are probably epiphany and betty, because of how they sound and just lyrics behind it. i do recommend this album. but i would have to rate it between 6 or 7. i do really enjoy the alternative part. but i was hoping more of a getaway car, delicate, or cruel summer type of song. a song that’s slow and calming but also has a lot of belts. those are probably taylor’s best tracks ever! songs that are slow and have a lot of belts. overall it was an OK album. … Expand

With lyrics such as "you know the greatest films of all time were never made" and "I think I've seen this film before and I didn't like the ending. You're not my homeland anymore, so what am I defending?" This may come as a shock to swifties whoThis album is so different from all her others, yet at the same time, it's only comforting.     Un álbum magnífico de principio a fin, me encantaron las letras, y todas las historias que Taylor narra en cada una de sus canciones. Sin duda, uno de sus mejores trabajos y en un nuevo género para ella.
    Mis canciones favoritas hasta ahora son Mad woman, Cardigan , pero realmente todas son muy buenas.

    A masterpiece with beautiful songwriting and subdued but poignant production. Strong indie vibes. Some elements on the album remind me of Bon Iver, The National and Big Thief - something I didn't expect at all to get from Taylor Swift, but that I'm very happy I did.

    One of the best albums of Swift's career. An album with calm and melancholic songs, the album sounds like the currents of a romantic river in Italy. Deep lyrics, Swift manages to put his old anxieties, in letters so smooth and pleasant. The album is cohesive from beginning to end, Swift's 8th album, and yet another masterpiece for his career.

In a streaming world consisted of mostly singles and EPS, “folklore” stands out as not just a musical masterpiece, but one that is perfect for this special time of quarantine to reflects on past life stories and emotions.     These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
