The movie was very character focused and driven with passion. It shows how much of a failure Warner had on their hands with the theatrical cut and shines as one of the greatest comic book movie epics shown in live action.

I loved it ! This film is beautiful, the story, the images, the characters, everything in the movie is amazing. 10000 times better than the 2017 version. I didn't have the feeling to watch the same movie. Thank you, Mr Snyder.

This movie is an entirely different presentation of what was shown in the 2017 version directed by Joss Whedon. Versions of the characters presented in the film shown 4 years ago such as Cyborg, the Flash, Batman, and Wonder Woman are given a complete 180 with their motivations and character arcs. Cyborg goes from being depressing and distasteful to fleshed-out in Snyder’s Cut. Same goes for the other characters; Batman is back to being his serious team-leading self, the Flash is given laughable humor along with several compelling scenes that make you root for the character at the end of the day, Wonder Woman brutal, yet hopeful compared to her bland counterpart in Whedon’s take, and finally, Aquaman doesn’t despise the world around him during the 120-minute runtime. The 2 extra hours given to this film is a much-needed breath of fresh air to delve deep into knowledge of the heroes’ and villains’ reasonings of why they do what they do. And, last but not least, the CGI is very impressive for the limited resources and small timeframe given to complete this movie. A round of applause is deserved for this modern-day superhero masterpiece.… Expand

Proof positive that WB, DC and Snyder are clueless.
Finally got around to watching this. Oh my god. What a bloated, boring mess.

I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who defends this steaming pile of of Snyder.
For wasting my time and telling the exact same story as the theatrical the option to give this mess a minus rating should be an option.

Can we all just that this movie is just pure awesome, Warner Bros is a greedy company that should have waited for Snyder to grieve but they released a terribleZack Snyder’s Justice League: For a 4 hour movie it sure moves at a quick pace. Can we all just that this movie is just pure awesome, Warner Bros is a greedy company that should have waited for Snyder to grieve but they released a terrible movie in 2017. 4 years later we get a 4 hour epic that lives up to the hype big time, from the very opening moments of the film it’s tone is set and stone. It’s dark and atmospheric, it’s just a Snyder film it has a familiar art direction and it works for the movie. What I was most nervous about was the 4:3 aspect ratio and other reviews have said after a few minutes you don’t notice it and I didn’t believe it until I watched it and they are right. But the biggest notice is the CGI and story with the characters. Since the CGI is going to not take long but I’ll say this, it’s a huge improvement there are some moments that don’t look good but that never detracted me from the experience. The characters got a massive upgrade in particular Batman, and Cyborg, my favorite is just Cyborg’s story which got cut out of the original and his story and character arc was emotional. The bond that gets created with another character is great, what I love most is the story and action scenes. With the length of the movie it sets up the story before anything else and it’s never boring. I just can’t praise this movie enough but I do have one major complaint. Jared Leto. I would be a lot more harsh to this movie if he was in the movie earlier but he’s in the Epilogue which is at 3 hours and 45 minutes so it’s not a big deal. I hated his performance he somehow got worse the first thing he does is laugh and it sounds like a parakeet, the red on his lips looks like he stuck his face in a huge bucket of red jelly, he was just plain terrible. Overall this is the best movie in the DCEU and one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while with amazing action, music, some of the CGI and a great story with amazing characters I highly recommend this even though HBO MAX has the film, just go watch it. A film that brought a sensational vision of the DC universe to the cinema, a shame it took so long to be released. Now it remains for us to enjoy this masterpiece with an uncertain future, it would be great to have a sequel, perhaps a trilogy.

Very excellent and epic than Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, very good at all times although its length is what I complain about the movie, but it is a great Snyder movie. For better or for worse, this is Snyder's uncompromised vision—and all the muted colours and self-indulgent grandiosity that come along with it.

The film benefits greatly from the insane length by providing some much needed context for many of the disjointed plot points found in the original cut. Victor in particular gets a lot more screen time and feels like a far more fleshed out character. I can see why Ray Fisher was so upset since virtually his entire arc was plucked out of original cut. But the length is a double-edged sword: the film is actually coherent and contains stronger characterization but many scenes drag on for way too long and it often felt like a slog to get through. Snyder always had an obsession with slow motion but here it is exacerbated to a hilarious degree. I swear if you took out most of the excessive slow-mo (essentially any scenes that didn't involve Barry) and the tacked-on ending you could easily shave over half an hour off the final product. As a result it would be much more palatable. But this is what Snyder wanted and this is what his fans wanted. I hope you're satisfied.

This isn't the holy grail of superhero movies. Much of it feels like it wants to stand tall as some kind of massive, important monolith of the genre. Meanwhile it still suffers from many of the same issues that plague Snyder's other projects. Junkie XL's new score is appropriately bombastic but even that can get overbearing. Did we really have to hear a woman wailing every time Diana does something badass? It verges on self-parody. And even with the hindsight of DC movies that have been released in the meantime, they didn't address the continuity errors with Aquaman. For that matter, why does Amber Heard have a British accent now? She never did before. At least it doesn't contain maddening levels of character assassination like Snyder's previous movies in this series, so that's a point in its favour. Though I didn't see the need to revisit Batman's homicidal nightmares again towards the conclusion. It feels like he took some of the past criticism to heart and I'm glad he got to see this through to the end after experiencing such a terrible family tragedy.

Do I like it? Not really, but I'm happy that a major studio allowed a filmmaker's vision to come to fruition in the end. But if you really want to see a few hours of the Justice League I would say you're way better off watching a season of the animated series.… Expand
