The movie had all that which a Justice League fan hoped with it. I really loved the movie as it fills the gap of its previous version. This story has more depth, more detailing in the movie. I really love the was all the characters are built up giving each character their origin which was missing the previous one.
Importance of flash cyborg Aquaman wonder woman in the fight with Steppenwolf was clearly depected. I was not a fan with the depiction of batman in the previous version but I liked the batman of zynder's justice league. I do realise if this would be the final cut in 2017 many of the scene would have to be cut short but but still it would have been much more better than what we got.… Expand

It is amazing how much better Zach's JL differs, and EXCEEDS Joss version. Absolutely one of the best comic movies made to date. Sets up an epic storyline set in the Knightmare DC Universe. Basically what we were waiting for since 2016. What i ride, they basically checked every box. 4 awesome hours this movie will go in the books. I got 2 Critics :

Much better than the 2017 version, the 2017 was so bad i didnt even remember what it was about, now i was able to comprehend what was happening, an average user that does not know much about the characters might be still confused, but an entry level one like me was able to understand it. The coloring makes it a bit more serious and some cringe jokes were removed, the characters are now more in-depht and the justice league finally works as a team, instead of superman doing 99% of the job. A great improvement and a must watch if you're a dc fan… Expand

I've never written a review before but I've just finished ZSJL and I am absolutely blown away. When the original "version" was released in 2017 I left the cinema feeling absolutely nothing but disappointment. The film that Joss Whedon hadI've never written a review before but I've just finished ZSJL and I am absolutely blown away. When the original "version" was released in 2017 I left the cinema feeling absolutely nothing but disappointment. The film that Joss Whedon had presented was not just disjointed and rushed, it was soulless. Whether you liked Man of Steel or BvS or not, there was a clear continuation of the narrative and characters with depth who you actually cared about. Zack Snyder's fully realised version of Justice League isn't just better, it's a completely new movie.

Ray Fisher's portrayal of Cyborg is absolutely incredible. Cyborg goes from being an afterthought in the Whedon version, to an integral and central character. His performance is simply incredible. With a proper backstory and fleshed out characteristics with complexities instead of just being a background character, he shines. We are given a storyline which actually makes sense and fits in with the previous narratives and characters. The Whedon version had so many contradictions to what had come before, it just didn't make any kind of sense. Aquaman's backstory now ties in with his solo movie instead of contradicting it. Wonder Woman is back to being a badass instead of the sexualised object that Whedon portrayed. Ezra Miller's Flash is given a proper story which, again, makes his character infinitely better. Finally, Ben Affleck. Put simply, this movie fully confirms him as the greatest version of Bruce Wayne/ Batman to ever grace the screen. I'm a huge fan of Bale and Keaton, absolutely love those movies, but Affleck's portrayal, again, butchered by Whedon, takes on a whole new level of leading role. The action sequences are simply breathtaking. The finale is as good as any across all, and I do mean all, of the previous comic book movies. At 4 hours long you'd think I would've been counting down the minutes til it ended. I actually found the opposite, I was dreading the end Co I'd just absolutely immersed myself into this incredible, incredible world that Snyder had created. If this is the of the Snyder universe then it will be an absolute travesty, but what a way to bow out. Simply incredible… Expand

Included now are lengthy character arcs, with compelling character development all-throughout. The visual set-pieces are inventive and exciting. The starting amazon part was fantastic, The story of Victor, was so good that people could connect to it. Barry's scene in climax made me look in awe!

Each and every scene in the movie has a depth to it. I'm not a huge fan of DC but I felt immense satisfaction deep within me after watching this.

This movie showed us that comedy in a superhero movie (Marvel Formula) isn't needed for a movie to be successful.
This movie showed us people will watch a 4 hours movie if the story, screenplay, sound mixing, etc is good.
This movie showed us that people don't care about the weird aspect ratio of movie, we just want masterpieces like this!

If this version was released in 2017, trust me, Marvel Avengers Infinity War and Endgame would be judged compared to this! I don't know why Joss Whedon massacred this beautiful masterpiece.

The movie has something within it that makes each and every one of us to connect to it on some level! I could go one praising this! Everyone despite a Marvel Fan or DC Fan or not, must watch this!
My Rating 11/10.

I wish people would join force again to continue Zack Snyder version of Justice League. Like how we all united and petitioned for this release.… Expand

Zack Snyder's vision was right from the beginning. Whedon's version is now pointless. For me, this was the best Heroes movie since the dark Knight trilogy and the almost 4 went fly by. A true work of love to honor Autumn.

That being said, the epilogue was very messy and a lot of it was just fan service, plus the introduction of the Martian manhunter was somewhat ham fisted, but every scene from the original was presented better in this one. Every new scene was excellent, and the plot was much much better. Nevermind that the look of steppenwoIf was LEAGUES better in this version. If this movie had come out originally they'd be working on JL 3 by now. Seeing this makes me want a sequel. The only good thing about the original that wasn't better in this movie was the scene with aqua man walking down the dock to Icky Thump. That was just bad ass.… Expand

Absolutely amazing. Honestly I wasn't expecting much initially only that it will be a good action movie but after watching I totally loved it. 4 hours didn't simply just expand the story that we have seen already but also added lot moreAbsolutely amazing. Every character was great but Cyborg, Flash and Steppenwolf are the biggest upgrade. "Badass" is the word that comes in mind when I think of it's villain. Third act is massive and really enjoyable. Action throughout the movie was very satisfying. I'll definitely watch it again, maybe this time as episodes instead of all at once.… Expand

Absolute fun and does what a DC comics should have been. Cyborg and The Flash is the stand out. Batman and Joker is a relief after the heavy criticized Suicide Squad and BVS. It's proof you don't need 10+ stand alones to introduce characters before you go big and you don't need to sacrifice the drama for comedy.
Batfleck is boss, Cyborg broke my heart, Barry can move in with me, Supes is getting scary (interesting), Arthur....I'm gonna keep this family friendly. Which leaves Diana. WW is the weak link in a very strong chain. Her action scenes are near flawless, but that's basically it. It's not even that she's OP, it's that she's bland as a character. Too good, too right, too perfect...she's not a character, she's a skill set who's handy for exposition. However this is easy to overlook when there's so much else going on and like I say watching her fight is a joy. I hope ZS gets a chance to continue this vision as I trust him now to do these characters justice … Expand

Pros: 1) You get more character backstory for Cyborg, 2) more “fight” scenes of the Flash (he’s far more utilized this time around!), 3) Wonder Woman’s introductory fight scene against regular humans really portrayed her strength and speedPros: 1) You get more character backstory for Cyborg, 2) more “fight” scenes of the Flash (he’s far more utilized this time around!), 3) Wonder Woman’s introductory fight scene against regular humans really portrayed her strength and speed well over even the previous two films made specifically for her, 4) there’s room for a LOT of growth(!), and 5) there’s some blood and swearing, which is expected and welcomed given DC is typically grittier and darker-themed. I really want more in the DC universe!

Cons: Aspect ratio, some unnecessary scenes (mostly at the beginning), and maybe along with that, some unnecessary song choices for said scenes.

Four hours really isn’t that long, and if you enjoy it, time will absolutely fly. But if you’re on the fence because of it, you can always break it in to its parts, which Snyder did.… Expand

Besides the heroes, even Steppenwolf and the villains are better, deeper, he is no longer just a grey generic villain, i even felt sad for him at times, and his visual is awesome. No need to say the shots are beautiful and the fights spectacular. The only bad things about the movie are the special effects, which sometimes seem cheap, but that's because of the low budget, and also some of the dialogue is very expositive, directed at the audience and not at the characters, but that's also very small.

Loved the movie, when i first heard about this Snyder Cut, i expected 15 minutes of new content, not a gamechanging completely different movie, hell, the whole first hour is different, the ending sequence is 100% changed, it's awesome. Before this, i wanted this version of the DC Universe to end, now, i want a sequel.… Expand

This movie is far superior than the 2017 abomination.

I was genuinely happy to finally watch this story unfold the way it was supposed to.

The whole movie, from the action, to the acting, to the classic cinematography of Zack Snyder and his captivating visual style, simply fantastic. 4 hours may seem like a daunting duration for a movie, but it really onlyAbsolutely brilliant. The whole movie, from the action, to the acting, to the classic cinematography of Zack Snyder and his captivating visual style, simply fantastic. 4 hours may seem like a daunting duration for a movie, but it really only feels like 2.5 hours. The character archs were all fully fleshed out. Moving story with emotional scenes and brilliant moments of comedic relief (side note, if you found the theatrical cut funny. Nearly 80% of the funniest moments were planned by Zack. None of that distasteful Whedon humour). This movie FINALLY did JUSTICE for aLL CHARACTERS! This is a beautiful testament to Snyder using every bit of that time to masterfully build the story. I write this review after having watched the movie twice.

I disliked Flash and Cyborg after watching the Whedon cut, but watching this ORIGINAL VERSION, I'm just deeply moved by their story, their humanity and love.

Right now, I carry the message of hope that this movie sends to its viewers. The DCEU will never be the same without Snyder. I pray for JL 2 and 3. There's SO MUCH MORE to be explored that was opened by this film.… Expand
