I was impressed with the writing in this one! The script is very tight, it's paced probably better than any of the Avengers films, with less downtime and more action. Not strictly epic battle scenes, but plot action. There's lots ofI was impressed with the writing in this one! This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Just came back from watching a 10:20am showing at the largest CineMark in my area. Looks like 80% of the seats were purchased, it seats about 200 so I'd say about 160 tickets purchased to this showing.

I was really disappointed with Spider-Man: Homecoming but I'm happy to announce I absolutely loved this movie. I can't even think of a scene that should be taken off, I feel it was really well directed. From start to end I was either laughing or by the edge of my seat hoping Spider-Man and his friends wouldn't die.

Spoilers are coming, please avoid reading if you don't want to be spoiled:

Was I the only one saddened by the twist in the story when you find out Mysterio is not who we thought he is? I was completely fooled just like Peter was and felt it was a shame because he seemed like he could have been a good replacement for Iron Man.

I thought it was cool following his class around in their field trip to far away countries. I was so glad that Peter's friend Ned found a girlfriend because I think part of the reason I didn't like Homecoming was that he was too close to Peter. Unfortunately near the end of the movie we find out they have broken up. Hmm well hopefully they get back together or he finds another girlfriend.

Zendaya was excellent this time as MJ and maybe I should rewatch Homecoming, maybe I was a bit too harsh on her portrayal. After I watched Homecoming I thought she was just way too negative and nothing like what I thought MJ should be. Now after Far From Home I'm in love with her character. Maybe when I watched Homecoming I was in a bad mood or something I don't know.

Awesome movie I'm going to see Far From Home again tomorrow and maybe Saturday too. Even the end credits scenes were good, and speaking about the end credits how is Peter going to handle the revelation to the world that he's Spider-Man? I don't think that has ever happened before in the Spider-Man movies.

I find it hard to believe anyone thought Homecoming was better. This is by far the best MCU movie. It's brilliant on every level. I will be going to see it again. I cannot recommend it more highly. STAY for the after credits scenes! Both of them.

First of all, I thought there was no way of topping the whole Avengers Assemble fight scene from the end of Endgame but this movie comes pretty close to it. Jon Watts the director does some creative things to keep the audience invested. Jon Watts the director does some creative things to keep the audience invested. There is one fight scene that shows this creative style perfectly and trust me when I say it never gets boring. All of the shots are perfectly in frame so you know what’s going on and where to focus your attention. Just like in the first movie all of the actors give it their all. Okay, I will admit that this sentence is probably biased because Jake Gyllenhaal, who plays Mysterio, is my favourite actor of all time but honestly he’s amazing in this role. You can see him just giving it his all in this role from beginning to end. I can honestly admit that this is probably my favourite role I have ever seen him in. But the main showstopper performance was Tom Holland. Once again he plays Peter like an actual teenager who is going through grief. In every scene, you can see him questioning everything and not knowing what to do anymore because Tony isn’t there anymore to help him out. After seeing him in this role I can say he definitely the best Spider-Man. Everybody else was great too and I’m happy that certain people stayed in the background. This movie doesn’t overdose itself with humour and I’m happy with that because after Endgame I don’t want a lot of humour in this film. But at the same time, there is some humour that was acceptable. There are 2 great post-credits scenes that you need to see especially because one teases Spider-Man 3. In the end, Spider-Man: Far From Home is a great sequel that took what was great about the first movie and improved it.… Expand

I found this really competed with Spider-Man: Homecoming for best live-action Spidey film. Far from Home is equivalent to an amusement park ride, just an onslaught of entertainment.

The story takes a different path. Spider-Man/Peter ParkerI found this really competed with Spider-Man: Homecoming for best live-action Spidey film. Far from Home is equivalent to an amusement park ride, just an onslaught of entertainment.

The story takes a different path. Spider-Man/Peter Parker (Tom Holland), whose past films have been intertwined with New York City, finds himself on a trip across Europe, resulting in some really scenic visuals. (There is one scene in the Netherlands that is just superb.) Also Peter Parker is on a higher tier of crime fighting, and it's a decent story arc as he has to deal with it.

There are a couple of moments where this movie did some surprising things. Dealing with the events from Infinity War and Endgame is done surprisingly well. Be sure to watch through the entire credits. Trust me.

The entire film, like the last one, is pretty funny. More time is spent focusing on Peter's classmates and other supporting cast and they all really shine. At times, the high school rom-com part of this movie can dominate the superhero part, and I really didn't mind. Also glad we got Happy Hogan, who continues to sort of be Spider-Man's handler, and I'm glad that Jon Favreau's still willing to play the role given his busy directing career.

As with most MCU movies, the effects and visuals really stand out. There are a couple fights that are fairly different from past Marvel films.

I'm both surprised and pleased that they managed to translate Mysterio's costume to film, dome helmet, eye-pyramid cape clasps, . It's just that superhero films have historically cared less about accurately maintaining villain outfits and between this and Aqua Man, it's nice to see a change.

I honestly feel this ties with Homecoming for best live-action film. This is a lighter film, and I honestly can't say this was most experimental or deepest in tone or message. But, this is a movie that just wants to be fun, and it really does that.… Expand

Amazing! Always been a big Tom Holland as Spider-man fan and this did not disappoint. This is my favorite Spider-Man movie, my 3rd favorite action movie of 2019, my 2nd favorite superhero movie of 2019, my 2nd favorite Marvel movie of 2019, my 3rd favorite movie of 2019, my 3rd Marvel movie of all time, one of my top 5 favorite action and superhero movies of all time, and one of my favorite movies of all time. I loved this one even more then Homecoming and I also give this one an A++. The acting was phenomenal especially from Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Samuel L. Jackson, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon, Martin Starr, and Cobie Smulders. The visual effects were exceptional and cool especially Mysterio's illusions and the Elementals. Far From Home had really awesome action scenes. The movie was really funny. I loved all of Spider-Man's new suits, they were amazing. All of the music was outstanding especially Back In Black and all of songs for the different countries they visited. The writing, story, and screenplay were remarkable. The sets and scenery were magnificent. I also loved the extra scene where J. Jonah Jameson revealed to the world that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and the post-credits scene where find out that Talos and Soren were hired by Nick Fury to impersonate him and Maria Hill, they were both so shocking and cool.… Expand

Holland proved himself as the best Peter Parker as he take on a big bite on his fully loaded plate. Related to Mysterio’s insights and goals as Gyllenhaal’s charismatic performance makes it hard for the coming MCU Villains to match. Second phase of the film was the S#!*. My now favorite live action Spider-Man movie. I loved Mysterio so much from the get go. So many different awesome visual effects as well. The first act of this movie drags just a bit, but once it kicks it into high gear there is no turning back.

It was a thrilling adventure with emotional flash backs to the tragities of Endgame. Peter really develops in this movie and it's a great timeline to watch altogether! 10/10 for sure, definitely worth a watch.

I have loved Spiderman since my local library offered the original comics in bulk. This Movie gives one of the classic villains an almost perfect portrayal.

The trailer doesn't do this movie justice, but there is a good reason for that.

It awesome but I want to see gwen stacy peter parker first true love. I hope they put dove cameron as gwen stacy. Maybe tom and dove will become a couple as peter and gwen. These two are my favorites. I want to spiderman in young avengers.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is a truly terrific movie. Tom Holland once again proves that he is the one true Spider-Man. That and Jake Gylenhaal knocked it out of the park as Mysterio.

I grew up loving Mysterio and thought I would never get to see him on the big screen; they nail him. Holland continues to shine and Zendaya is as dorky as ever. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The second entry in the the second Spider-Man reboot series, this one takes place after the last Avengers movie. Tony Stark/Iron Man is dead and has left Peter with some of his technology. Most of the rest of cast from the last move returns, with Marisa Tomei as hot Aunt May; and Ned, Flash Thompson, and MJ. In the film, Peter leaves New York in a field trip with his classmates and they go to Europe. Jake Gylenhall plays Quentin Beck/Mysterio, someone who purports to be a superhero from another dimension and he fights a new threat to Earth, the elementals, strange super-powered entities from another dimension. Later on, it is revealed that Beck was deceiving everyone, and it was all an illusion he created as he is an illusionist and special effects expert. Beck was a former scientist at Stark industries who developed the holographic technology that Tony Stark stole and dubbed “B.A.R.F.” Angered by this, Beck was fired for his unstable nature. As a result, Beck swore revenge and sabotages the world while pretending to be an “Avengers”-level hero. I thoroughly enjoyed this one even more than the last one and was satisfied with its depiction of Mysterio.… Expand

The critics are crazy, this film is far superior to Homecoming with Peter Parker at his most vulnerable and probably one of the best developments of a villain. Overall a wonderful film to watch.

Me encantaron todas las situaciones en las que se ve envuelto el amigable hombre araña y su paulatino desarrollo a nivel emocional a lo largo de toda la película.

Jake Gyllenhaal hace un muy buen personaje encarnando a Mysterio pero siento que pudo ser mucho mejor

Las escenas post créditos estuvieron muuuuy buenas y nos dejan con la incertidumbre de querer saber cómo será ella siguiente ciclo.
