REALLY BAD

While the trailers weren’t that great and I was expecting it to be a mediocre or okay film, I never thought it would be awful. Then the reviews came out and they were BRUTALLY BAD. But what are my thoughts on Morbius? HOLY SH*TREALLY BAD

While the trailers weren’t that great and I was expecting it to be a mediocre or okay film, I never thought it would be awful. Then the reviews came out and they were BRUTALLY BAD. But what are my thoughts on Morbius? HOLY SH*T THIS WAS GARBAGE! First the positives, Tyrese Gibson was decent enough and maybe one or two action scenes were okay but that’s about all the positives I can think of from this film, Now the negatives and there’s A LOT of cons. First, The performances range from terrible (Matt Smith’s performance starts off okay, But gets REALLY overly hammy and ridiculous in the second half of the film) to mediocre (Jared Leto), The CGI looks like a cutscene from a Xbox 360/PS3/Wii game, The humor isn’t really good, The action mostly sucks, Considering the character is really violent in the comics the isn’t very bloody because it is held back by it’s PG-13 rating, The post credit scenes are one of the worst I’ve ever seen in a comic book adaptation, And the script is complete and utter garbage. However the film is also somewhat of a “Hilariocity” as there are so many things like the CGI, Action, and So many weird sh*t that were so terrible I couldn’t stop laughing at how awful it was. Even though my expectations weren’t very high, I’m still shocked at how bad this film was and this is a film not worth your time.… Expand

There's a moment in the film where there is music playing and the guy singing keeps saying "have sex" and honestly he is right. I should be doing that instead of watching this nonsensical garbage.

Sony's superhero universe is stuck in the early 2000s. The Venom movies are terrible in my opinion; and Morbius is no exception. This is just unwatchable. The plot is terrible and rushed, the characters are undeveloped and their motivationsSony's superhero universe is stuck in the early 2000s. The plot is terrible and rushed, the characters are undeveloped and their motivations and character arcs don't make sense, the action is lame and boring, and the visual effects are laughable (like early 2000s video game effects). The film either feels unfinished or like it was taken apart with studio interference. Whatever the case, the end product should not have been released as it is. It blatantly and shamelessly tries to rip off better movies such as The Matrix and Batman Begins. Save your time...skip this one.… Expand

I really don't know why this movie was made, especially how it was made. The movie starts fairly well but everything pretty much begins to go downhill once the adult versions of the leads are involved. The character arc is nonexistent, the dialogues aren't good, the effects and CGI are downright atrocious, the acting isn't bad especially Matt Smith's but remembering the poor CGI aches My heart. This movie is should have existed a decade ago, doesn't fit into the landscape of superhero movies in 2022. I rate this movie a 3 because of Matt Smith's performance and the exchange between the young characters or the leads.… Expand

Morbius could be such a great character he is intelligent he thinks before he acts and what did sony do... Let's make a slasher... Have you learned nothing from Marvel?… Expand

I knew this movie was bad, but WOW, I couldn't have guessed. It's lacking in basic cinema and storytelling 101, like characters reacting to things. Or setting something up before just taking off running with it.
