Very meh. If you're a gay man, like average love stories, lots of gay sex and think progressive ideology is the moral center of the universe, then this movie is for you. Billy Eichner is mostly annoying all the way through the movie. HisVery meh. Billy Eichner is mostly annoying all the way through the movie. His character is solidly unlikable. (the dude playing his love interest is decent though. I'd like to see him in a movie that wasn't mediocre). There are probably 3 really funny scenes in the movie. One involving Debra Messing, one with 4 naked dudes blowing each other and another with a meeting of people running an LGBTQetc museum. Other than that, it's not particularly funny or worth watching. Billy Eichner does do a decent Garth Brooks impression for second though.… Expand

It stars comic Billy Eichner, who's pretty much playing his usual caustic, neurotic self. He plays a New York podcaster who's happy with his carefree life until he meets an interested hunk (Luke Macfarlane).Their relationship develops on traditional lines, including the rough breakup before the final kiss. Fans of Eichner might find this enjoyable, but a little of his manic personality can go a long way. Macfarlane succeeds in being hot and charming. The film also makes a point of showcasing contemporary queer culture (sex included) and there are some famous folks mostly wasted in cameos. Being that Eichner co-wrote, his autobiographical rants and political tirades drag the film's spirit and pace. There are a few funny moments, but overall it's a spirited, but unoriginal romance.… Expand

If you're not into romcom, stay away. Very formulaic and the only surprises used gay lifestyle for shock value. If that's old news to you, there's nothing fresh. The problem with this movie is Billy Eichner casting himself as one of the two main characters. Otherwise, as a forty year old gay man, the film isn't that bad.

Had fun with this typically structured rom com, the middle did seem to really drag and kinda do nothing for like 0 minutes but other than that it was very well made with some good laughs.
