Bad writing and weak acting. The Aaron character was just boring. The Bobby character just grated on my nerves. A smug self righteous know it all that can’t stop shouting his opinions. Ugh. However, I believe it's important to analyze films from different perspectives. While the movie had its flaws, it did have some redeeming qualities that are worth mentioning.
One aspect that stood out was the film's cinematography. The visuals were well-executed, and certain scenes were visually captivating. The attention to detail in these moments deserves appreciation.
Moreover, "Bros" attempted to explore the side plot of a gay museum, which, although somewhat cliché, provided an interesting backdrop for the story. While it may not have been executed perfectly, it offered a unique perspective and shed light on a lesser-known aspect of LGBTQ+ culture.
It's true that the main character was portrayed as insufferable and unlikable, which hindered the overall experience. His character arc was not as impactful as it could have been, and his initial portrayal as a sexaholic didn't evolve until much later. This lack of character development made it difficult to fully invest in his journey.
Additionally, the humor in the movie didn't always hit the mark. Some jokes fell flat, while others relied on tired mom jokes. This aspect could have been improved by incorporating more clever and original humor that resonated with a broader audience.

I had very high hopes for this movie but boy o boy was I let down. $22 million dollars is a decent budget for a romantic comedy but it was $22 million wasted. The acting was awful and the comedy was nonexistent.TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!

Because one of the characters just complains through the whole movie, is inconsiderate of the feeling of others, totally self absorbed, and lacks empathy for others. I saw the movie last night. I saw the movie last night. I watched a person get up and walk out because of the rant after rant of the main character.
Further, it is not a comedy. There is only about 3 minutes of comedy in the entire movie. It does show a reflection of how many people I've met in bars rant about the unfairness of the older days. The main character is insecure and lashes out at everyone. The days he rants about most are in the past for most now in the 20's and 30's. Especially the teens. I would doubt this movie will be in the theatres any longer than the contract to show it requires. Certainly doubt it will make its production costs back.
Lastly the movie (main character) continually knocks the current present progress channels like Hallmark are making in including gay character into their movies. Something which is very inclusive and progress.… Expand

Why would you ever watch this movie? Chicks won't. Gay guys won't. Straight guys absolutely won't. The only people that will are soy drinking sissies from big cities that would rather be le and progressive then watch Lethal Weapon again.

This has got to be the worst LGBT romance movie I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Painfully flat. Zero sparks. Forced emotion. Extremely shallow. An absolute train wreck. Certainly felt like it was written and directed by people devoid of any basic understanding of cinema art. Frankly those people should not be in movie business. Bros is one of the least funny movies of the year 2022 and so f*****g woke, they told me that if i don't watch this movie it makes me a homophobe! and honestly this movie and those supporting it are f*****g heterophobic the movie was just awful.
