I am not a huge superhero movie fan. Having said that, I expected this movie to be over-hyped and sub-par. In reality, this was well acted, had a great storyline and was full of action. You can not wish for more.

Good movie! There are some elements that were unclear to me while ignoring the laws of physics. The cgi was below average but that's not a major flaw. Go see it.

It's not as good as that hype, but it's a solid part of the Marvel Universe. I suppose the best part of this movie is that the characters aren't boiled down to stereotypes seen in other movies starring Black Actors. Each character has a personality that is developed and showcases the many actor's talents in front of the camera. I enjoyed the story, but it was easy to predict even as they tried to twist you around. Overall if you want to keep up to date in the path Marvel has laid out this is an important part. Expand

My only nit pick was the CGI at the end was a bit jarring and inconsistent. Is it a perfect movie, nope. But what movie is? The director cherry picked the very best things from the source material and brought it to life. You will have fun at this movie. This was the perfect roll out for King T'Challa. Wakanda Forever!!! The biggest disappointment I have with this movie is that it doesn’t really differentiate itself from any other Marvel movie. I wouldn’t mind so much, but this movie is directed by RYAN COOGLER, aka the man who directed Fruitville Station and Creed. I almost never felt his distinctive vision for direction in this movie. All the times I did centered around Killmonger, the villian. One this movie DOES do differently from other MCU films is that the villain is the best part of the movie, which is usually the complete opposite in almost every other MCU film. Michael B. Jordan is both charismatic and heartbreaking in the role, and he was far and away the single best aspect of the movie. Every thing else ranged from good (the story and performances) to bad (the **** CGI). Like most MCU movies, it’s pretty average. I would give it a pass if it wasn’t for the fact that Ryan Coogler was directing, but because he was, I left the theatre very disappointed. Expand

I liked it quite a bit. And I think a lot of Republicans or Conservatives actually don't realize that Black Panther is actually quite a good role model for Conservatives, let me explain why.

Where the film is strongest is in these areas.

-Visuals
-Story
-Revelations
-Role Models (This section is for Republicans and Conservatives, Especially)

Where the film is weakest in areas.

-History
-Racial Issues
-Side Characters (Particularly Villain Elements) -STRENGTHS

-Visuals: Visually I enjoyed all the purple and wild colors all over. The paint on the masks, the paint on the walls, the faces, the Art. This was just so well done that it was very atmospheric. It literally felt like we were in East Africa or Wakanda. The giant lips, the Rhinos, the people using the shields as cloaks. It was simple yet elegant. The only visual Marvel movie that would be better is Guardians of the Galaxy. And who could forget the dirt ancestor ceremony! That was just sheer coolness.

Simply put. Credit goes where credit is due. The artists did one hell of a job. The body markings were just cool.

-Story: Although I kind of got a vibe of Scar vs Muffasa from the Lion King. I actually found the motivations of the characters to be quiet tragic and well motivated. I'd be pissed to if someone killed my father and just left him there, only to find out that it was my uncle. Although I would be pressed to think that my fate would be fighting my fathers battles. Although I thought the tension of being a monarch was rather missing, but that went away when the villain showed up.

-Revelations: One thing I enjoyed about this movie was not revealing deaths or certain key plot points till later in the film. I think what a lot of films fail to execute on is actually showing how certain past events unfolded as certain present events unfolded. I like that quiet a bit.

-Role Models: This was actually a positive role model for black people. Why? The main character is show to care for his people more than himself. Put's his nation, family and traditions, first. While the villain is show to be aggressive, controlling, unhinged in his emotions, vengeful, and a warmonger. Black Panther represents what people who are conservative are all about. Family, Nation, Protecting Borders, helping the world when needed but not too much, tradition, honor and mercy. He marries into a black wife, lives in a very homogeneous society where all the people have the same values.

Ironically, the whole black liberation non-sense really isn't historically accurate, but the villain is pretty much a BLM supporter. He wants to wage war against non-blacks, wants to put them on top, etc. He's pretty much Black Hitler with daddy and racial issues. He dies, he is finished. He is not the strong one. That's all that matters.

-Weakness

History: It's kind of redundant, but hearing the whole “were slaves by white men” thing just kind of gets old after 160 Years. Also, it never made sense to me when the sister of black panther would call an American a colonizer, when they had no colonies in Africa. They also never touched up upon how Blacks sold other blacks, or how Jewish merchants profited from the Atlantic Slave Trade. There are numerous historic inaccuracies, but it's not a major weakness, because the film is technically fantasy. -Racial Issues: “White Wolf, Colonizer, Saving Another White Boy.” I mean clearly there were jabs at being white in this movie. I only ask if Captain America would say, Blacky, Slave or Black Bull, would it get the same treatment? Also his sister was kind of a rude, flicking his brother off and being just downright indecent at the start. Although later she gets better, not really a racial issue, but I just hate snarky rude arrogant women. What I'm trying to say is: CALL 1800 CHOKE DAT HO

-Side Characters (Villains) I really don't get how the main leader of the blue tribe just easily stops supporting the Black Panther, all over not killing the merchant villain. It just seems forced and lame. I mean, they're pretty much like really good friends, and all of a sudden that just goes out the window because some foreign prince killed a merchant. Also the white villain merchant died to quickly, was hoping he would actually be better. But he was also a throw away character for the most part. Overall I would give it an 8/10, and is about 100000000000 times better than Star Wars the Last Snowflake.

TheCGI is poorly blended and it sticks out like a sore thumb when the cast is clearly standing on the green screen during several scenes throughout the film. The plot is pretty basic as well and does nothing to be even slightly original. The cast is rather so-so as well. I enjoyed Boseman and Jordan as the leads, Freeman and Serkis played wonderful supporting parts but everyone else seemed kind of awkwardly out of place and it didn't really click well on-screen. There was no real chemistry and it shows. The action scenes were probably the only real enjoyment this film had to offer and even those were kind of boring at times and again, The CGI painfully out of place.

Honestly, This has to be one of the most overrated films in recent years. I think the fact that it's the first black superhero film to come out during the superhero film kick (not ignoring Blade) really overhyped it. And the user reviews show that IMO. You don't have a near 2 overall score drop out of over 2000 reviews if that wasn't the case. It's an alright movie worth renting but not worth owning because there honestly isn't one real stand out thing about it, Aside from the superhero being black.

Watched every Marvel film to date. Black Panther is by far the most dull.

After watching the first cartoony CGI scene of the Black Panther wrestling in a dark suit in a dark jungle: almost turned it off. It's like 80% of the CGI budget went to building Wakanda (which looked great). 20% went to the CGI live action scenes - which look comically fake.

The one thing that makes the Black Panther a hero? Vibranium. Can you imagine if the only thing special about Wolverine was an Adamantium suit? There is a glaring lack of imagination here and the climax of the picture is utterly forgettable.

While the user score is currently split 50/50 between positive and mixed/negative, the glowing critic scores are wildly undeserved.

The first hero that its dependant on stronger women is the black one! LOL

Anyways. The movie is fine. Its only probably the most boring one in the entire MCU (not the worst).

Between:
1) fanboys that would love a black screen with the Marvel logo
2) critics that would love any movie with this type of cast
3) critics paid (not literally) by Disney
4) people that laugh at "what are thooooose" type of jokes

this movie was going to be overrated.

The villain COULDve been great. It wasn't. It just was better than the average Marvel villain. I get why. He had a point, so by making it a psycho (kills anybody that gets in the way and cant form any kind of relationship because he's broken and all he has is hate blablal) makes it easier to relativize the revolution ideas.

The hero could've been great. He couldve been this guy which needed tons of help to lead his people, but at least he was strong.
NOPE. He's weak and without the help of his little sister he would be dead. GREAT!

And then the scenes in the ethereal world. MY GOD. What a boring waste of time (except the last scene, which should've been the only one there).

Other than that, typical funny movie!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Disney did a good job marketing this movie to put emotion into it. The irony in Black Panther is that it is a film about exploiting the resources of Africa, without actually going to Africa and using Disney money to stimulate any economy there. Africa is a beautiful continent, and would have been an amazing backdrop. Unfortunately, Black Panther's backdrop is a green screen. Some gadgetry did not make any sense as anything conveyed by hologram could have equally been a text message, the "sneakers" never seemed to work, and it only takes a joystick to fly a plane?

The plot? Much like Hamlet, if the King and Denmark won. Black Panther becomes the worst king of Wakanda, loses his throne to a viable competitor. His family are sore losers, and lead a revolution to stop the king from sharing the secret of Wakanda. Once they win, they then share the secrets of Wakanda...

The lesson Disney is conveying is to not battle the powers to be, because they have better weapons.

Overall, only see Marvel if there's multiple heroes in it. Only see DC if there's one.

It breaks so many barriers and records simultaneously that it would be foolish not to notice that it's more than just a marvel movie:it's a seat at the table. This Oscar nominated (and winning) superhero story has a majority black cast ,set mainly in a highly evolved hidden African nation. It's brave inclusion of a reworked African dialogue, accents and afro-futurism is allow for a somewhat clichéd tale of a kings defense of his throne, family and country in the face of a righteous threat. Sure the story does rely on the marvel ordinary story formula but it does so in a never before seen context. Expand

I really went into it expecting to see one of the best movies that the MCU has to offer and I left extremely disappointed. Nothing in this particular movie stands out as special except for the fact that it is about a superhero who is black. The fact that this is up for best picture is an absolute shame and warrants an apology from the academy. It is nothing more than just another hype train of a film escalated by the fact that it did something as "different" as have a predominantly black cast lead it. It's "Moonlight" all over again! I honestly feel that "Blankman" was a better black superhero movie than this overrated hunk of mediocrity. Expand

While the idea of this character seemed great on paper, specially looking at the performance of Chadwick Boseman in Civil War, the movie fails of a hero that doesn't shine as bright as the antagonist of the story.

This is one of the rare MCU movies where the villain is more charismatic than the main character.

T'Challa in this movie is surprisingly bland and the character development that it went through in Civil War seems to not be there anymore.

Weak CGI effects and the glorification of what is essentially an absolutist monarchy based on a quasi-medieval society with Vibranium-based tech doesn't portray Wakanda as a "good country". The main story of the movie acknowledges this with a villain more empathetic to the viewer than the nobles of Wakanda.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Slightly less than average Marvel movie. Same simple plot that is full of holes, canned acting, and good CGI. The action in this movie is so bipolar, going from throwing people into cars, to killing them on the freeway, a battle of submission, to slitting someone's throat and stabbing. Only for the little bit of blood being when everyone is out of suits making everything ridiculous and telling that this was intended for kids, but not written for them.
This is by far the least heroic hero Marvel has shown yet with T'challa killing people left and right with no concern or worry. The implications of Wakanda being effectively a tyrannical dictatorship that may have a happy populace (it's not possible to tell since we only really see the royals) is also kind of frightening. It will never come to that in-story, but the implications and people thinking of it being better is worrisome.
The music was okay. The set and costume design was bipolar going from amazing to silly and over the top just to be different. The inspiration it took from various African cultures was fantastic, but then there were times they threw it all together willy nilly. Things with intent and meaning now just meant African.

One of the film's biggest sins is the attempt at such a forced insertion of social struggle, which the movie simply throws in the viewer's face that does not work well on such a reasonable plot. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Black Panther is a true masterpiece and has a finesse to it that we haven’t seen in any Marvel movie period since Spider-Man 2. The film pushes the race barrier of superhero films to much success, considering that in the whole movie there are only two substantive white actors. It’s filled with visual splendor and takes us on a fantastic journey into the technologically advanced nation of Wakanda, which was teased in the mid-credits scene of Civil War. The cultural approach of the movie is unique and not something other MCU installments have really done. Rather than simply take us on a tour through Wakanda, the filmmakers walk us through its history and how it came to be what it is at the time of the movie, which gives us an amazing lens through which to view this nation that we’re being introduced to. The action, which is superb, also has strong cultural roots, giving us fights that are intended to happen and unavoidable in a way that they’re not in other movies. Black Panther has some hilarious dialogue that is supplemented by the phenomenal cast performances, and makes some references of its own that teenage viewers are sure to understand. Killmonger is one of the best villains that we’ve seen in the MCU because he’s given a great backstory, some truly emotional moments, and actually convinces the hero to change his mind and take actions based on that that will forever alter Wakanda as a nation and civilization. T’Challa even tries to help Killmonger at the end of the film, creating an amazing hero-villain dynamic that we don’t see everyday. Despite having no powers of his own, Killmonger is a very intimidating and convincing villain and sets a possibly unbeatable bar for future villains and big-baddies. Through all of this, Black Panther is a superhero film and icon that can be looked at through multiple different perspectives: blockbuster entertainment, culture, academics, technology, etc. Black Panther has some of the best of what Marvel has to offer and I strongly recommend it to anyone who is a Marvel fan in general. The snooty white woman in the supposedly chic gallery devoted to showcasing African art pieces doesn't know as much about her gallery's own pieces as Eric, the cousin of the Wakanda king, who is however planning a heist. On moral grounds of course. The piece he has his eye on was stolen "by British soldiers" so he's taking it back. Because "how do you think your ancestors got their hands on this piece" as if the woman, though white, is a descendant of the looting soldiers. As added justification, he, being black, notes that she has had him "watched by security since he came into the gallery", an experience every African-American male with a top knot and dressed in jeans, T-shirt and necklace has had in every uptown art gallery they have ever frequented. The woman huffily objects but then discovers that Erik has poisoned her, creating a disturbance in which two accomplices posing as ambulance attendants rush in. They cap the scene, literally, by then butchering all the white folk who have crowded around to help. This scene is not racists at all however because the two ambulance attendants are played by white men.

And that is how this vile nonsense begins. If white teenagers feel empowered by Spiderman then black ones will probably feel empowered by T'Challa, as the main character - "a strong black man" (as if Denzel Washington hadn't been invented yet) - is called. If teenagers need this puerile comic book pap to feel that their personality has been enhanced it indicates yet another failure of the modern education system.

It has a good cast, an interesting story with a relatable moral dilemma and a strong villain that could be a great hero if things were different. After a flashback to the past the story deals with T’Challa becoming the next king of Wakanda. This is not granted as he has to fulfill a ceremony and not all groups / tribes in Wakanda are satisfied with the status quo. As sidenote: Wakanda is pretending to be an average African country but in truth they are far technological superior than anyone else and this is because of their Vibranium metal (Fictional metal with amazing properties far stronger than titanium). Meanwhile a strange soldier named Killmonger has a plan that can change everything. I am sorry to be vague here to avoid spoilers. The story is amazing. It deals with sins of the past, what makes a leader and responsibilities. Also the villain is really strong. His motives are understandable, he is intimidating and awesome. Like I said he could be a great hero if his past was different. For the actors we got a strong cast. Chadwick Boseman is the perfect choice for T’Challa. Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger is equally good and a favorite choice after Thanos for best MCU villain. I think I shorten it a bit a praise the whole cast and team behind the screen as it is well earned. The costumes, set and special effects were excellent too. Overall I think the praise is deserved and I also give a 10/10. Would recommend it for all MCU fans and even outside for the story as it is relatable. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Now that I'm far distanced from all the social media vitriol circulating from both fans and critics of this film (which in its time was horribly damaging and hurt a lot of friendships and race-relations, let's not forget), I can view this film a bit more objectively. For me, this is one of the better films of the MCU. It has a complex villain with motivations that aren't cliche, and the film touches on real-world issues that are relevant. That said, they do this rather clumsily at times and there are moments that really hurt the film's maturity level and could easily alienate viewers, as they have some jokes and comments in there that really feel like cheap jabs at white people from the filmmakers. The joke "another broken white boy for me to fix. this should be fun" presents a double-standard where if it was a person of another race and their race was mentioned like this, it would offend people. Maybe they should've just stuck to "American" instead of "white boy". It's demeaning to call a grown man a "white boy". I don't think the MCU is an appropriate venue for racial humor. I might have laughed at this in an adult-targeted film. I can take a joke, but in a film that is seen by general audiences this feels misplaced and irresponsible. Same can be said for when one of the protagonists calls the white guy a "colonizer", and that horribly cringey scene where the white guy gets censored by Wakandans barking like apes who will not allow him to speak. It's just plain weird and doesn't even really make sense in the context of the movie.

Aside from that though, I feel like the film has a lot of heart, poses challenging questions, gives, for the most part, reasonable answers, and has a lot of visual wonder and charm (though the quality of art and effects definitely wavers between astonishing and made-for-TV looking). A good film in the MCU, but with some problematic moments, but mostly good. One of the bigger weaknesses may be that the title character is a bit bland in comparison to some of the film's other more vibrant characters, but it does set up his sense of duty and morality, and shows his perseverance, so maybe we'll see some more growth from him in the next one.

The idea was interesting as was what the film was hyped up to be, the trailerWanted to see 'Black Panther' for a while, one of my most anticipated films of this early half of 2018 and as somebody who likes to loves most of Marvel's films. The idea was interesting as was what the film was hyped up to be, the trailer looked great and the high ratings and critical acclaim promised even more.

My thoughts were that 'Black Panther' was a decent and intriguing film with a lot of very well done to great elements, but it didn't blow me away and left me disappointed after the hype. As indicated, far from hated it, didn't love it. Actually saw 'Black Panther' on opening weekend in a sold out showing (it was touch and go as to whether a ticket could be gotten), but had to properly form my thoughts for a while and was nervous seeing the very divisive IMDb reaction and the condescension on both sides (mostly negative), which has slightly died down since to feel less nervous.

Starting with the good/great things, 'Black Panther' is mostly impressive visually. The special effects were variable, but there were some spectacular ones, while it's beautifully and stylishly shot, slickly edited and sumptuously costumed. It's the extraordinary production design that was most note-worthy. Loved the use of technology, which was really cool. The music has the right amount of haunting intensity, energy, dignity and pathos, so a fine score on its own but not always utilised right in the film, a few ill-fitting moments mood-wise.

Much of the action is exciting, though there could have been more, and there is a good deal of thought-provoking script-writing with some nicely injected humour. One is immersed in the world of Wakanda, which is a fascinating world in thematic terms. The story does grip once it gets going and doesn't feel as confused and jumpy, with timeline and location changes needing to be clearer, like it did to begin with and a lot of it even when turning our everyday struggles on their heads is surprisingly relevant.

Personally thought that much of the acting was good, with a very charismatic lead performance from Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan bringing a self-loathing conflicted edge and swagger to Killmonger and Andy Serkis relishing his role with aplomb. The women are just as good, with a dignified Lupita Nyong'o, regal, no-nonsense and feisty Danai Gurira and particularly a funny and endearing Letitia Wright. While his role is small, Daniel Kaluuya is great fun in it. Direction is above competent, if not innovative, and really appreciated the film making Killmonger more than the standard Marvel villain, here one with questionable personal motives but one where one can see his point of view and empathise. Although his actions are inconsistent and don't always make sense and he could have been more threatening, generally he is one of the better Marvel villains and the most developed character in a film too full of stock ones (the titular character being the other exception).

'Black Panther' has faults however. Most of the characters are stock and clichéd, while some of the first half is too talky, the film is a little slow-going and confused to start with and some of the political elements are laid on too thick. Adding to the general feel that, even with the splashes of humour, the film takes itself too seriously and with the amount of predictability it has doesn't do enough new with a novel concept.

There are exceptions to the cast. Forrest Whittaker is wasted as a non-developed character with too short screen time, on top of the scene being rushed his final scene has no impact as a result. Martin Freeman is too fish out of water as well.

Although some of the effects are spectacular, others are very ropy. Especially in the final action scene between Black Panther and Killmonger which resembled a very early days/years video game. That scene also felt rushed, sometimes vaguely choreographed and anti-climactic, though the whole climax felt over-stuffed and too busy.

Overall, decent and interesting but was expecting more. Personally don't think it's the best Marvel film, while a long way from bad let alone terrible, for me it's one of the weaker ones. 6/10 Bethany Cox

I'd say it was a huge disappointment, but I really wasn't interested in the movie until the so-called critics did their weird-ass gushing thing. Black Panther

Coogler's incense stick burns slow but has an enchanting fragrance that teases our speculations with thought provoking familiar themes. With Ryan Coogler, the director, on the realm, he has a politically correct film as the crown, it may not age well, but it definitely is the headline of the today's newspaper. The up rise in the rich culture that it sparks is unfortunately a double edged sword, as much as it is essential to shine the light on the other side of the door, it also is necessary to be nuanced in that very speech, unfortunately at a certain point it grows loud- the forced humor is probably the dullest of the franchise- and undermines the quality. Chadwick Boseman as the king, never feels like the "king".

He may have all the James Bond-alike gadgets but his body language isn't flamboyant as his competitor Michael Jordan. But then, to be honest, it is Jordan's film from the start. With a ferocious provocative performance his leadership has much more jarring impact than Boseman could ever cast. And Jordan single-handedly carves this film like his appealing figure, the film grows three dimensional when his opinions come alive, only because every other character is given a baggage, except for him, and then he too is cooked with those same ingredients.

This middle act is where the film wins all the credit and as much as gritty this very act is, the last act shucks that earned respect as it gets reduced to a fist fight in the end- the commercial aspect once again anchors the flight of another bohemian chapter of the MCU. Coogler offers enough to ponder about and enough to exhale for, the gold that it digs for, comes with a price that as an audience we are paying for unknowingly, it is not manipulative but an inadequacy to cut deep, for the time the myth, the king, the Black Panther is their reliable protector.

I thought it was a joke! This is a good movie, I won't deny that, it actually has some social commentary about racism that superhero movies don't really have too often, it's competetively shot, it has some cool action scenes, solid acting for almost all the cast, but almost every other aspect was just bland and pretty standard, like the writing, the cinematography and the score (Many people seem to love the score but I thought it wasn't anything special even if it's good).
It has that basic superhero movie formula, the movie felt pretty predictable at times and the message about racism, while it's good to see a superhero movie talk about this topics, it's really standard and generic, nothing that changed my mind or anything.
And the CGI, oh my god it's maybe the worst CGI that a MCU movie has ever had, there was CGI that felt straight out of a PS2 game, it's shocking.

I mean this is a pretty competent movie, a pretty good one, but why is this nominated? Why was this nominated for best picture over other way better movies like Eight Grade or First Man, or even a superhero movie like Spider-Verse, in that case, Spider-Verse could've been nominated for that award! But nope, let's give it (the nomination) to Black Panther.
When I saw it I liked it but I never thought it was Oscar-worthy and I was shocked when I saw the reviews.

There's more effort to create discussion among the audience than their usual work, and the action scenes feel more like interruptions of the story than they do the main event. CG scenes when our hero is in his signature suit are a bit sloppy, but the live fights, with no superpowers, are much more engaging. It might be a bit dry for younger audiences, but teens and adults should have a good time with it. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A terrific addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This movie brings to the viewers subjects never seen before in the whole Marvel franchise. And it manages to be refreshing despite some same predictable old codes. Tackling some subjects did surprise me but it was made a certain finesse and strength that let the movie breathe without making it too serious or awkward. It gets political without making this fact the whole center of the film.

The soundtrack is the best I've ever heard in a Marvel movie. In addition to that it competes with others movie soundtracks that I may consider as perfect. Ludwig Göransson did an amazing job from A to Z with these orchestral fusions of trap and traditional drums to symbolize the subtle mix of high-level technology and old rituals that characterize Wakanda. Drums may sound a bit repetitive from time to time but I found that they evolve to some intensity in accordance with the pace of the movie. Of course how can't I mention that these pure tracks are embellished by Kendrick Lamar's typical touch and mastery. If few songs did appear in the final cut, they still remain as notable as powerful.

That pace remains a black point in my opinion since 'Black Panther' asks more than two hours to showcase multiple plots reuniting many characters in different timelines and with various objectives. More focus should have been helpful to me as the first half sees the storyline struggling to get going while the second half focuses mainly on fights that enventually interrupt the valuable and so far very interesting development of many characters.

CGI and special effects are another questionable aspect sinc I found there was few to be noticed. T'Challa's armor don't evoke much to me, starships are a bit ugly, weapons feel like toys and some scenes let us easily imagine the green screens. Fortunately these effects were very good on environment, skies and towns. Colors are not to my taste as I found the look of some artefacts too shiny some times (as the necklace) or just to plain and forgettable (as the hand of Andy Serkis).

Michael B. Jordan & Chadwick Boseman's acting skills are quite impressive, even if the last shares more his iconic face and prestance rather than actual acting skills. The presence of so many powerful and involved women is truly agreeable and definitely bring some fresh air in the MCU we know nowadays. In extension to that, the casting is really solid.

What I especially love is the evolution of characters that are moved by meaningful and meaningful values and desires, which tends to make us easily understand why they act or think the way the do.

Thank you for that and RIP Chadwick Boseman.

I loved Black Panther in Civil war so seeing a solo Movie about him i was on board, but the Movie honestly bored me the most time. Why ? because the fights are uninteresting and the world didn't really managed to catch me. But the biggest Problems was Black Panther. His character arc was already Finished in Civil war. So there was no real development of the person behind the Mask. But Kill-monger was **** awesome and he was the best Part of the Movie. Its not the worst MCU Movie but its pretty boring compered to the other Films Expand

Typical Marvel movie, there is absolutely nothing new. Despite being done nicely it leaves you some shadow of disappointment, because it's just the same as any other Marvel movie.
