Fantastic. A true sequel to the original. There are tons of subtle call outs to the original. This needs to air with every marathon. A true love letter to the original 1983 classic. It does a good job of walking that fine line between retreading old story beats and honoring the film’s predecessor.

A wonderful tribute to the original film. It keeps the charm and warmth of the original, while respectfully not trying to replicate first film. Instead, this sequel pays homage to the first with reverence and nostalgia, in the finest ways.

Not bad movie! It’s great to see most of the characters again. Parts of it will make you cry and laugh. Just watch! You won’t want your time back!
